So if you didn't have enough already, now get them for cheaper. Oh... boy.

Any bets as to which figures sell out first? Astrotrain & Arirazor or Razorclaw & Elita?

News is the wrong spot for sure, but I think it's fine as its own thread since it's not one of the big brick & mortar retailers.

Elita & Razorclaw are fantastic designs, I strongly recommend anyone who is interested to snag a set. Best versions of their respective molds released to date.

I guess all that talk about Razorclaw being highly desired didn't account for how bad the Leobreaker mold is. Seriously, the G1 Razorclaw is a MUCH better toy.

 

Seems its a matter of FP grossly overestimating the demand, or at least the number willing to pay premium club prices.

I sure feel silly for dropping by ebay for them after the last Botcon, I'll tell ya that much.  

 

Hmm... I wonder if I could sell Elita-1. I really want Razorclaw but have no interest in her.

i really like both, i ended up with 2 razorclaws, i was gonna customize him, but with 20 credits this semester, im dying here

 

Not as good a deal as the discount on Astrotrain and Airazor, but not bad either. If I had some more funds available this month, and there wasn't so much non-TF stuff to get soon, I'd probably get both sets.

Punch/Counterpunch is slated to be released by the Club at some point but, IIRC, it won't be the "free" membership figure.

 

I picked up the Astrotrain/Airazor deal a couple of days ago. I effing love the Astrotrain! Paint scheme, mold, box art . . . very nice!

As far as the Elita 1/Razorclaw, well Elita 1 I'm pretty fond of, but I really don't like the Razorclaw mold. IDK, I guess it's worth picking up.

 

Makes me think they're trying to cover their asses after all the QC problems that were being reported.

 

Was thinking the exact opposite. I actualy want an Elita-1 to match up with my BotCon Alpha Trion.
BTW, anyone know if the scales would work together?

 

I think they look well together on my shelf. YMMV. She's about 60% as tall as him, he's a Voyager as tall as an Ultra.
