Yeah, if you notice, Soundwave.ca's haul is MOSTLY oddities. Yep, he's been hanging around me too long.  

Actually I brought my little Barricade Zip Zap with me to Botcon and showed it to him while we were there. Next thing I knew he was at Radio Shack looking for one.  

 

I really regret not picking that up

Picked up a bunch of concert posters from some of my favorite bands over at Newberry comics in the mall. They are all signed, numbered prints by the artists. Best of the bunch was a GRANDDADDY poster that turned out to have a silhouette of UNICRON and VICTORY SABER in the back ground.

Sorry for the bump from the second page, but somehow it took me a week to find the time to upload my pictures. So here's my modest haul from Saturday.




-Pepsi Optimus Prime
-Reissue Soundwave (now I FINALLY have one)
-Transformers More Than Meets The Eye #3 (minus most variant covers and the preview comic, I now have every Dreamwave TF comic)

-Beast Wars #3, autographed by David Kaye (I brought the comic with me)
-Botcon 2007 Program/Games of Deception Comic, autographed by Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci, and Stan Bush (because I forgot to bring my animated movie soundtrack)

I also got the gift card ($5) and comic that came free with registration, and one each of the Prime and Megatron posters they were giving away at the Sector 7 truck thing.

I ran into Draven and alphie, and even if it was for a brief minute or two, it was still cool to meet people from the boards. I saw Kickback (hell, he was barely five feet away from me), but he was going elsewhere while I was on line for Kurtzman and Orci's autographs.

Finally, my Botcon haul pics. minus the comics and graphic novels I got.



And my favorite, $5-15 Predacons in C4-C7 shape. A few hours with some 1000 grit and the polishing wheel, and they outshine my reissues. A few of those on the table were great buys that just needed some love and repro labels.

 

Hey Blue M, how much did the victory saber set cost yea? Very nice haul btw.

 

Is that a Knockoff Computron giftset?

I have one of those. Not too bad.

 

I'm envious of all of your hauls. Maybe I'll get to going to botcon next year.
