I just wish robotkingdom had a POL feature. Their shipping to me in Australia is good ( as mentioned before ) but I can't save on volume.

I find these days that a lot of high end stuff is cheaper to get from ebay. For example streak cost me about $70 shipped from hong kong, not bad for Aus. On my recent kiryu I saved about $20 compared to US retailers by using an ebayer. EMS from Japan to Australia is FAST and not too expensive.

Going to quote myself because I need to clarify. I looked more closely at my 2 Prowl boxes and found that the lower tape was indeed cut. Both my boxes have double tape on both sides so if they did need to open them to insert a card like someone mentioned then why the need to cut both sides open and retape? I'd think cutting open one side, opening and inserting the card would be enough. Why the need to slice both sides open and retape both?

cutting tape to insert a card? Why wouldn't they insert the cards prior to putting the first pair of tapes on?

Guys, double taped boxes are nothing new, 1/3 of the ehobby boxes I've had from years back were double taped, my Henkei Megatron was double taped, its not a big deal. They added or took something out of the box before bing shipped, thats all, no conspiracy.

I recently picked up Prowl and Sideswipe MP and instantly wished that other MP's were not so darned over priced thanks to limited supply.

So here is a question I can get Hasbro MP Soundwave for a decent price, I'm assuming the all in one value for money aspect outweighs any other considerations right?

Also if Acid Storm is the only seeker mold available is he worth owning just to get that mold?

    Thanks

Anyone make the neck plate on prowl and Blustreak go pass those 2 tabs so that it sits flush with the top of the hood? I filed down that red piece on my streak so that it pops pass those tabs pretty easily. I think it looks better when you make that piece go past the 2 tabs to sit flush. About to do the same on prowl.

I did...after much force. Wasn't sure if it was supposed to but if it didn't those side mirror pieces wouldn't fold into the slot properly. Even more scary when you want to transform him back. So far no breakage, I've only transformed him once.

The mold IS very cool, but the deco is divisive and the paint apps beyond the wings are the worst in terms of number I've ever seen on that mold.

I'm glad I have him, but he's hard to recommend unless you're getting him for a great price. I would try to snag Thundercracker as the last time I looked he wasn't crazy expensive yet. Better deco and a main character to boot.

Loving the Datsun mold. Can't decide if it's even better than the lambor mold. My only complaint is the pins in the elbow joints - can see these getting loose in the future if there's too much movement.

Personall, i like the datsun mold just sslightly better than the lambo. Prowl and Streak contine to get my attention daily. Takara just hit these out of the park.

Yea its scary. ..to say the least. But thats why i filed it down just a little. It now still takes force, but not as much as before. And i feel more comfortable doing it now. No hesitation from car to bot anymore.

Yea, I popped Streak's past those tabs on accident. Almost scared to try transforming it back, cause it doesn't look like I should have done that. May give it a shot in case I do break something while replacements are still easy to find on the market.

Lol... i did the same. I actually filed the red piece down by pushing up on that piece. I was very cautious, but it worked. I used a metal finger nail filer. For me no more worries. But like you i accendently pushed pass the tabs and was to chicken shit to push back through.

I did it on purpose when I read about ya'll doing it! Of course dumbass me manages to cut my thumb and then get the blood on Prowl's shoulder...wiped it off fast though. Should I push it back through or leave it as is since I don't intend to transform it anytime soon?

I looked at mine, I think I prefer that panel below the tabs as intended, it makes the panel parallel with the top of the hood, A good visual that the head raises up from inside... as it does ;)
