Just because the creator of the GIF came out and says it should be pronounced JIF, people started referring to it as JIF.
People have been calling it GIF for 30 years. The G stands for Graphic. It's a phonic G.

Heretic here... I always called it jif, until I heard it "should be" gif. Given I'm 39 this year, it's not like I was swayed by the creator comments. So I'm like the literal opposite of the scenario you describe

Its just an MP-11 head. A dab of hot glue in the ball socket, wait till it begins to cool and pop it on the ball peg. Creates a nice firm connection that can be easily undone. The modded KFC hands were a bit more tedious to install, but not terribly difficult.

The hands and head on Meteor drove me nuts. The hands on the new MP look like a massive improvement. Wrist tilt goes a lot further in posing than individual articulated fingers imo. Head wise I think the new ones got his own set of issues though.

 

I meant mp-11, I hadn't saw anything where Takara themselves designated it as a 2.0. Seems more like something this side of the internet ran away with on their own.

But yeah, there's too many similarities between Green Starscream and MP-11. They definitely redesigned some parts on top of removing some junk, but MP-11 was definitely not meant as the 2.0 version.

its not bad. just more of a satire than the first. Some think it is brilliant, some hate it. I think it is fine though i think the level of humor and satire from the first one was better personally.

 

MP Prime was meant to be a one-off design, not the start of a whole line, so in many ways MP-03 was the first time they were thinking about what a masterpiece toy means. I still incredibly respect the design for trying to be as close as possible to a 1:60 F-15 when in plane mode while still transforming in a recognizable way into Starscream. I still think it's 1000x better of a "transforming toy" than MP-52 where every bit of vehicle mode kibble seems to be faked.

 

Like the originals MP3. Yes. Iirc Sw had the teeth gnashing one. Cream, smirk and Tc I forgot.
