There's nothing keeping children out of this part, and thanks for recognizing that I'm a dog! Bark Bark! Kids don't need to see words like that, though. There isn't anything wrong with a nice warm soft shell taco though!

Actually, "It's", it and is together is a contraction! That reminds me of our delicious 1/2 pound Beef and Potato burritos!

I love everything I have seen from Bay so far, I'll gladly admit that considering that what everyone else thinks and says of me for my taste in movies has little to no interest or effect on me at all on forums, the first 3 films were amazing and the next film will be as well, I still find it funny that my 2 favorite universes seem to be the ones I see the most hate towards being the Movie-verse and Shattered Glass, in the end though, this movie is being made, I know a lot of people don't like it just as much as I hate the fact that Kesha and Rhianna will still be releasing what they like to consider music, yet I still have to put up with the fact that they exist anyways but at least I can take comfort in knowing that my favorite movie franchise is getting a 4th installment and that with any luck, my all time favorite band Linkin Park will surely have another part in doing the theme music for it. :D

Ha ha, given the childhood obesity rates maybe kids need to cut back on the nachos a bit.

    Yes, really.

The live action movies are a huge financial success and the studio always goes for Bay first because he's guaranteed to bring in hundreds of millions. No other director would throw in their 50 cents knowing that Bay is still being considered, not unless they are someone who know that they can match or exceed his box office take. Even then the studio wouldn't go for them if they can get Bay because it'd still be considered a risk.

I guarantee you though that the minute that Bay declares he's done and sticks by what he says (and doesn't let himself be bribed into it by the studio like what is happening now with TF4), you will see a ton of directors who express interest. There are ALWAYS people who want to take over a franchise. Hell, someone took over GI Joe 2 from Sommers, and the first movie wasn't exactly that big of a hit. Transformers is a guaranteed money maker and has Steven Spielberg as the executive producer, who is still one of the big names in Hollywood. No way that there is no other director interested.

I like the movies and everything, they're what got me back into Transformers, but I was really hoping for someone new for TF4.
Who knows, it could actually turn out pretty good, DOTM was a big improvement so hopefully that continues with this. However, since getting into other aspects of the franchise I've come across much better TF related media, the MTMTE & RID comics in particular, and seeing just how good those are has made me view the movies in a bit of a different light. I'll still be going to see it on release day, but I'll be remaining sceptical for now.

Okay, what do we really know so far?
There will be a Transformers 4 in 2014.
    Michael Bay will direct.
Peter Cullen will reprise his role as Optimus Prime.

We all may as well calm down. If you did not like the first three films, just stay home this time.

    Know what makes me sad? All the people that hated the Bay films and waited for a reboot with a new direction and director that died and will die in between the first, now and before it can actually happen after this fourth movie. ;_;

All I ask is to the Bayfans who say don't hate on these movies, don't hate on us. Some of us won't be around to see the movies we wanted.:cry

I believe they're trying to say something along the lines of "It's very possible that some people won't live to see the day when they go to a live-action Transformers movie that they enjoy". Or something. And then something else about not hating on anti-Bayformers fans because they don't like the movies. A "don't hate the player, hate the game"-scenario.

Or maybe I'm just crazy? :drunk

    Quote reads as follows:

"I really need to buy my 17th vacation home, and Transformers print money for me...so...I'M BACK, BABAY!"

But seriously, I for one am 1.) Happy that it is not a reboot in the same sense as The Amazing Spider-Man, and 2.) Happy that Bay is returning. I know it's crazy, but he is crazy good at directing action. His cinematography is so pretty and he pushes the limits all the time. Narrative-wise, a Doritos bag could do a better job...but no ones bests his ability to give people what they really want to see...Big Effing Robots fighting and transforming and doing it all over again. Sure, he stands to learn from Transformers: Prime humor, and Beast Wars...but man, I love me some Baysplosions!

The biggest myth going is that Bay is great at directing action. He's awful.
In all three films the only fight scene that got anywhere near what you'd expect from a Transformers film as the forest scene in ROTF.

I'm devastated to learn we're not getting the reboot we deserve and instead have to suffer more of this buffoon's childish endeavours and worse still, carrying on from the terrible story so far. There isnt any good reason for carrying on with this mess of a plot. The fact its made so much money is because of the interest in the franchise, not anything to do with the quality of the films.

So they had a golden chance to start again and get it right (with any number of the quality directors/writing teams around and they've made a hash of it giving this moron another shot.

So whilst we could have had something like the quality of Avengers with somebody like Del Toro, Wheldon, Nolan..etc or even a high quality animated trilogy with the same kind of graphics (or better) used in Beowulf we'll have ass shots, bizarre idiotic comedy characters talking shit, robots who are jerks/******ed/racial stereotypes, lots of pointless explosions and destructions of major landmarks, confusing combat, shit needless conspiracy theories, overimportant military and ineffective sterile bad guys who are easier to kill than the enthusiasm I had for the next TF film.

Sorry, I really gave this guy and his team a chance and whilst there is some tiny spark of hope that he gets the next ones right, there's more chance of there actually being transformers in real life.
