I'd say wait for TF4 to even start production yet, simply so we know where the franchise is going, but beyond that I agree.

No, the design aesthetic is too different from WFC to have that idea work.

 

Well considering that the 50 second FoC trailers were probably better than the Bay films, maybe he should be consulted at some point? Personally, I'd love to see a Tim Burton Transformers film... Anyone with me?

Citizen Kane is revolutionary in cinematography, so it could be considered better, but I just love Aliens so freaking much.
Godfather is more opinion. Aliens was just as well critically received as Godfather and they both were just as influential to movies from then til now as each other, just in different ways.

 

We have yet to even see promos for movie four yet, so let's just wait and see if there would be a TF5 first.

 

Well high moon studios have certainly put more emotion in one Wfc/Foc trailer than bay has in on movie.

........I really, really, really hope you were kidding when you said that......Matt Tieger...seriously.
On another note, I for one would be extremely happy with a TF film that was made with the same graphics from the first couple FOC trailers. It wasn't 100% photorealistic, but in my opinion, those were beautiful for animated graphics to the point I don't think anyone would think a TF movie with that look/style would be opposed. I'd take that and get a movie on cybertron any day than be stuck on earth. The visuals were really detailed and beautiful in that trailer. If that's any indication of what High Moon and Matt Tieger could achieve film wise....then i say absolutely.

 

Matt Tieger = Space T-Rex Movie.

 

It's easy to convey emotion when you're blasting crappy mopey "this is deep!" music over all your trailers.
