None of the PSone games I own have been added yet. Really want to play MGS, Soul Reaver, and Resident Evil 2 on that screen. No longer having a PS3 is killing me. Did Tekken 3 ever get released? And is it technical issue if not? I never like T1 or 2 but really love 3. I seem to remember them doing some fancy programming to squeeze as much out of the PSone as possible. I kind of want to get Madden this year but I'm garbage. I don't know what it is but on the easiest setting it isn't even a game, when I move up one I can generally only get field goals. I was decent enough to play on medium and/or hard in the 2k series but fail at Madden. The demo proved that this was true for 13 as well.
Downloaded Soul Reaver. So happy to play this again. Having an issue with looking around, though. Can't seem to get that working.
Was about to buy MGS, but then I remembered I'd have to buy MGS 2 and 3 twice in order to play them on both my Vita and PS3. So I didn't buy any of them.
just checked it out. looks really nice, but a bit expensive @ $50. still, I'm looking for something that can hold my vita with the controller grips on. if it can manage that, I might pick it up.
PlayStation Plus for PS Vita Available Next Week If you haven't heard yet, PS Plus launches on the PS Vita on November 19th. If you already have PS Plus, then this is simply added to your existing options. There will be an Instant Game Collections and it will include the following: • Uncharted: Golden Abyss • Jet Set Radio HD • WipEout 2048 • Gravity Rush • Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack! • Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (PSP Game) I have a PS3 and PS Plus. I do not yet own a Vita. That may change now, especially with Uncharted being included.
already an owner of wipeout, uncharted, gravity rush and fft so I'd rather just DL a copy of jsr instead. don't your games go away too, or are unaccessible if you stop subscription to ps+? I remember I had the trial and all the stuff I dl'd then got locked afterwards, so I just deleted them off my system.
PS Plus free games are available as long as you have a subscription to PS Plus. If your sub lapses, your games will be accessible if you ever re-subscribe. Discount games are yours regardless. I've probably gotten something like 25-30 games through PS Plus via free or discount games on the PS3 so far. I don't always like every game they offer, but I've definitely gotten some keepers via the Instant Game collection.
Wow, the best deal in gaming just got better. I've been eyeing Uncharted, now I don't have to buy it. Jet Set Radio and Wipeout aren't favorites of mine, but hey, free is free. The rest I've got. I just wish they would update the dashboard of the Vita so I could have more than 10 pages of 10 "bubbles". Between Vita, PSP, Mini, PS1, and Mobile games, and various apps I've got room for one more thing. When are they going to implement some type of folder system like the 3DS did?
I'm kind of on the fence about getting a Vita. First off, Sony has a HIDEOUS track record on quality when it comes to the first couple hardware revisions of it's systems. PS1's that have to be flipped upside town to work right, Ps2's that get disc read errors, PsP's that have tons of dead pixels and deadly self-ejecting projectile UMD's, ect... Usually takes about three or four hardware revisions to where it's something that won't break any time soon. Second of all, with the advent of smartphones and tablets and whatnot, I'm not even sure there is a market for portable consoles. My poor little 3DS has been collecting dust since I got my Android phone.
It sounds like for you, there isn't. But I have only one game on my iPhone, and love having true video games on the go with me. Anyone pick up Black Ops Declassified for Vita today? I'm skeptical as to whether it's any good, but people are being positive about it over on Metacritic.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Android devices, but I can't get into tablet/smartphone gaming. I need physical controllers. Waiting for boxing day to see if I csn score a decent Vita bundle.
This is great. I've only been a PS+ member since Summer, and already I had to buy a much bigger ps3 hdd to hold all the goodness Sony throws at me. My hesitation with Vita games has always been "This mobile game is almost the same price as a home console release - in some cases, exactly the same price, depending on the store. Mobile platform games don't have a fantastic track record, so I'll let it go on sale." The sales never came. Now I'll be spending money on Memory Cards, it seems, rather than not at all. PS+ might well save this console.

Wow, that PlayStation Plus rollout on Vita might finally get me to get one. Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Jet Grind Radio, Wipeout 2048 and Final Fantasy Tactics all for free for PlayStation Plus members? That makes even getting a three month membership for $15 worth it. Counting the system itself on sale at Gamestop tomorrow for $200 with Assassins Creed Liberation, that is a whopping six games for $215. Throw in Persona 4 Golden and yea, I think I'll make the pickup, considering I also have a PS3 copy of PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale so that's another free game! They really need to advertising this PlayStation Plus deal nationally ASAP. This is amazing.
Between the $179 deal tomorrow on Amazon and the free games on PS+ I'm really feeling the urge to finally get a Vita. Persona 4 seems to be everyone's new talk about game, but I havent played any of the series, looks pretty great though.
