I've been trying to get the quest "A Man who cried wolf" for sometime now, but no luck.
The last quest I finished is the one from Bards College because I heard that's how you can get that quest, and still no progress.

    I got this from wikia:
If you do the first Bards College Quest before you enter the court this Quest may become unavailable. To solve this problem simply complete the first Bards College Quest and then enter the court again. The man should start talking now and the Quest triggers.

If it is a BUG, then I'll have to wait until my internet is back on then.

After being over 130 hours into it, and still haven't finished the main quest, I'd say its worth every penny.

Skyrim is the best game ever. The only thing I don't like about it though is how they portray most Nords and the areas that have snow.

Must be your first Elder Scrolls game then. There's nothing out of character with how things are portrayed.

I wish the patch would hurry up and arrive on the PS3 already. I have an Orc bandit waiting for her horse.

I'm really happy that with Dawnguard they finally let you craft arrows

So that's been confirmed now? I know they said we can craft bolts, but arrow crafting was never mentioned AFAIK.

I've just started Dawnguard. Before I journeyed to the Fort though I checked the Smithing Station in Whiterun, I can craft all arrows, all you need is firewood and other materials.

To craft (24) Dragonbone arrows I need 1 firewood and 1 Dragonbone IIRC. So yeah. Dragonbone weapons here I come!

I got Dawnguard also, and sided with them.

I immediately crafted a Dragonbone Bow and Sword and improved them the best I could. Then I was shocked to discover I could craft arrows too and now have about 300 Dragonbone arrows.

I have only done 2-3 of the main quests as I have focused on getting all the crossbow upgrades. Interesting weapon that I need to use a bit more, love the exploding bolts.

Mounted combat is cool, though I can never keep horses alive, lol

Possible spoilers, not story related, new enemies.

I was randomly walking along an icefield on the way to my next quest location, nothing dangerous going on, when A Dragon shoots up out of the ice, it scared the life out of me. I ran so I could get my bearings back and another Dragon shoots up out of the ice, I am at this stage freaking out as two new dragons are divebombing me through the ice.
Once I calmed down I managed to defeat them both, but wow, super scary moment.

I once had a dead Dragon pop out the side f a mountain, it just sort of 'phased' through the rock.

    Anyway enjoying Dawnguard so far.

Serana is now a follower after I returned her back to Castle Volkihar. In fact that entire sequence made no sense, you can't unsheath any weapons that first time there, I think it was just to give you the 'choice' for being a vamp or not. I don't know why she went back at all. Maybe for her to get the lay of the land after hundreds of years asleep?

Anyway need to improve my Dragonbone weapons more, right now I can't get them better than my Daedric weapons because I had a powerful smithing potion, once I have them all made I'll have to improve them all at the same time.

Also killed my first bear from horseback. Clunky and unweildy, and my horse died soon after, so yeaaaah, that was 1000 gp well spent...

I am also even very fond of this game but one that has kept me a slight irritated about it is the voice clarity. I think that this time the improved version would have also come.

I keep trying to replay this game, but the main thing stopping me is that the melee combat is terrible. It feels like I'm hitting nothing 100% of the time.

Its not that you're not hitting anything, its because your character is so puny.

Seriously, level up a bit, add a few perks to your chosen form of combat and away you go!

Also make sure you pick a standing stone bonus (warrior, theif, mage). I didn't in my first character game. It was a massively tedious slog until like level 20. Second character I did pick one and it leveled off at around level 10.

I heard that the last patch for Skyrim has yet to be available. I wonder if that patch will fix the quest The Man who cried wolf and the fact that Ilia cannot be available .
