When was this patch due? Or are you talking about the patches thats mentioned in the Dawnguard DLC?

Hey on another note i wish this new DLc would power up the Sword, Dawnbreaker (the one you get from the Goddess who shoots you into the sky) so I could use it. Hmm effective against the undead eh? Guess the old girl is coming out of retirement...

That's the best I can surmise. The Skyrim Wiki forums has people saying it's up for PC via Steam. Other saying that's it actually the beta of the patch. Others saying it's available on 360, but limited at the moment to those participating in the Dawnguard beta. Which does make sense, seeing as how they should of course have that before downloading and installing Dawnguard. Oh well, whatever, it'll get released soon enough for everyone I suppose.

As for what's in the patch itself:

Hmm, I wonder if that lighting bug has anything to do with my not being to escape Jorscavarr... when I exit certain dungeons the lighting outside would remain as if it was lit by dungeon lighting. Then after a second or so it will normalise to outdoor lighting...

I wonder if exiting the companions building creates a more extreme version of that bug which is what kills my game? I guess I'll find out when I get the update.

Bit of a bizarre thing, just arrived at the Thalmor embassy all kitted up looking like a proper guest, when all of a sudden Ungor, my follower, suddenly appears all in her Orcish armour with her Volendrung warhammer, and the Thalmor guards don't give a shit :lol  I thought she'd naturally go back to where's she's meant to wait for me, but apparently not

Did you check to see if you could fight on a horse? :p

In other things, I made my assasain character for the Dark Brotherhood stuff, and while really fun I've also experienced some weirdness. I've had a couple enemies seem to be completely blind or something and NOT see me crouching only a few feet away.

Like for example, I got that DB quest to kill this dude hanging out in a Dwemer ruin for a lady client in Markarth. I get there and sneak my way through the ruin, find the guy, and arrow sniped he and his cronies without a hitch. In the room next door full of loot there was a higher level bandit guy patrolling it, and I guess I somehow messed up and alerted him to my prescense. He comes running out faster than I can find a place to hide, stops literally a few feet away from me and is like "Huh, where'd she go?" and just stands there looking around. Even after I started plugging him with arrows.

Killed him and I was like, "Okay, that was...weird". Still not really sure what happened there, but wasn't complaining either.

Ha, well it downloaded the patch, then I quit and played VF5:FS for the rest of the night...

I think your sneak was high enough that they couldn't see you? I've had it where I'm crouching in plain view in a room, but the bandits couldn't see me as I ran around, so I killed them one by one with my bow.

Applicants for the dlc beta should check your inboxes. Bethblog just tweeted the applicants have been chosen. On a lesser note, half of one percent of the total applicants received invites. Chances are slim, lol.

Guess that could've been it. I guess maybe Skyrim does Sneaking differently than Oblivion? In Oblivion you had to avoid enemies' line of sight, no matter what.

Nah in Skyrim LOS definitely isn't a deciding factor. I was literally right there in front of a bandit, they could hear my bow being drawn (I wasn't making any other noise) and still got an undetected damage bonus.

tie n up some lose ends in anticipation of the new DLC and just started use n duel axes..its quite entertaining to say the least..my characters high enough where nothing troubles me too much so i can finally do away with having a shield or greatsword to block..running head first into a skirmish and slay n all who oppose me is gratifying

I finally got to play this game from a friend that brought it over this weekend and I am REALLY amazed. I was really on the fence of wanting this game and I thought it was FPS and I don't like those type of games but friend showed me it wasn't and WOW. Now I just need to get the game and find where I can get it cheaper then 60bones.

Anyone have and problems saving Skyrim on the Xbox? It seems that every time I attempt a manual save it doesn't take..
