G1 Classics Predacons Divebomb Update UPDATE: Rampage and Headstrong. PK is 99% built now. Coming soon... Update: An early look at Tantrum Divebomb was the first I started working on. I needed a small drill bit before i could attatch the arms, so now he's finished. I may add some feet to alt mode at a later time. [/CENTER] So for the past 3+ years I've been customizing, I've always wanted to persue this project. Along with Scorponok, Predaking is one of my favorite decepticons. And when I saw mechoy's MP predaking, I was deeply inspired. One of the coolest customs ever. I've been brainstorming the predacons for some time now, and feeling confident enough with my ideas and modification ability, I managed to to start cutting up some re-issue predacons. I felt razorclaw was going to be one of the biggest challenges, so I managed to knock him out first, I'm very pleased with both modes. This project will take some time, but I felt the need to share some WIP pics of the team. I think they're right at home with classics. Razorclaw in particular is around an ultra class. And with the new articulation each figure will have, I'm confident enough to call them "G1 classics". Anyways, hope you guys enjoy, and this thread will be updated.

Looks great so far, Dan! I seriously may need to pick your brain on this one. I have a KO Predaking standing here waiting to be articulated (all individually, as well as combined mode) and I love how this looks. If you wouldn't mind sharing some of your ideas, I'd love to know what you used and how you went about it (and no worries, this sucker is for ME and you'd get credit if I go the same route as you, man). lol
Looks great. Did you simply articulate the original figure or did you build him out of Razorclaw and other parts to get the height out of him?
Now that I look at it closer, I'm seeing elements of Energon Rodimus (arms) and is that Transmetal Cheetor legs? They look familiar, just can't place 'em.
yeah those E.Roddy arms are super handy for use when customzing animal legs/paws etc. looks awesome can't wait to seen the rest!
Hell yeah Dan already looking great! I'm using those same thighs (and their hip ball joints) from that generic Wal-mart bot on what I'm doing now too, lol.

Well you should by now D. Characters look great from what I can see. I had a lot of trouble hiding Divebomb's arms too in alt mode. I couldn't find an arm that folds into nothing. I'll be interested to see you're final take on these bad boys. Predaking was by far my favorite but I would never have the guts to hack up the reissue. Rather destroy the KO's first. Good luck.
