I LOVE this figure!!! He scales great with the other large mpms, absolutely massive in both modes (sorry, forgot to take pics). Also unpicured is that he completely seals up all the way around in alt mode unlike virtually every aircraft-former ever.

 

Eternia is funded for production, now to reach their stretch goals. I'm passing. (but I need to keep reminding myself of that, ha!)

I'm sloooowly building my Actionmaster collection. (Also telling myself US only and not going after European AMs... yet...).

This display case should be perfect for them... top row will be the figures that came boxed with vehicles (the Prime there is the repaint released with New Year Convoy long ago, not sure I'm going to bother with the original AM Optimus Prime too). Second row will be the first wave of carded AMs, third row the second wave, and bottom row the third wave. Kinda empty looking right now... but it'll fill up.

Zodac arrived to help even up the numbers from bbts and HOPEFULLY my BA HM order at Walmart will arrive in stock today.

I got the case on Amazon. I've had a similar case for my spychanger collection, that's a hotwheels case turned sideways, so turned sideways the door opens to the side. This case, the door opens by lifting up... which I hadn't thought about before buying but now in hand it's not as convenient since you have to hold the door open while putting anything in or out of the case.

The case is actually in my home "office" and not in my dedicated collection room. Not much progress on that, other house-things have been occupying time.

MOTU news: Mattel is doing some artist-inspired repaints of some Masterverse figures, just in solid shades of tan/taupe. I haven't thought much of these types of things they've done, but there is some sense/use to these... supposed to blend in to "domestic settings"... so you could have an action figure that almost looks like a statue, looks like "decor" for a non-collection room.

I'm not interested in actually buying, but kinda an interesting thing. Though also they're double or more the retail price of the original figures since it's "artist inspired" and probably limited edition, blah, blah, blah:

I've got somethings on the way from Hasbro soon... but I'm not sure what! Ha! I think they changed something with their email system, I got 3 emails that an item or items from my order #.... will ship soon, 3 different emails 3 different order numbers without mentioning what specific item(s). Guess I gotta login, look up the orders to know what's on the way!

(I think the Retro o-ring Cobra Stinger/driver, but must be other stuff too...)

Edit: Ok, looks like 2x Stingers and 2x SG Slicers (I ordered the 2 in separate orders). A little surprise... I thought Slicer wasn't due until like February previously.

 

HISS Tank Megatron? I've got him on order, looks to be expected for shipping 10/27 from Pulse now. I also have AWE Striker Bee ordered, expected for shipping in February.

 

BigBad told me my preorder should be available soon. Really hoping a review gets posted soon.

 

Prime vs Prime review has been up.

Seems like it's kinda how it looks: kinda hollow and kibble-laden, maybe a bit loose, so not the "quality" of WFC/Legacy figures, but if they interaction with 3-3/4" figures and replicating a HISS tank interest you, maybe that makes up for it's flaws.
