Also, the feet units have these slots and clips on the back (section below the balljoint) they dont seem to be used for anything…?
At this point I'm only really buying Archecore and Transformers and, thankfully, I don't feel like I need 'all' of either line. I feel really sorry for anyone who collects Marvel Legends and/or Star Wars, though, as the prices for those are leaping up ridiculously and the releases are relentless. I started getting the Acid Rain Annex 2179 range, but at almost £50 each for a 1/18 figure I had to stop three releases into the line. Same with JoyToy. I couldn't afford to keep up. I buy the Marvel Legends for characters that I particularly like but I'm glad I made the decision not to get back into Star Wars again years ago. I'm seeing people I know who have been buying The Black Series since day one having to stop because it's just not a sustainable collection anymore unless a) it's your only collecting focus, or, b) you're absolutely fucking loaded. Back to Archecore - I got my shipped notice from ShowZ for the Berserker armour earlier tonight, so I'm really looking forward to that I've got £220 of outstanding Archecore invoices still with ShowZ and I've got til Monday to raise another £70 towards it. :S
Well that's two out of three, the last set I ordered (the trooper trio with mounted weapons) is of course still on preorder. This is really nice though, very good quality throughout.
I'm waiting on the Shield trooper set too, along with the trooper with the smaller bunker. Sold a shit-ton of comics today so I can now pay off my remaining preorders at ShowZ AND buy another Stone'enge and more walls
Does anyone know if the new Mountains Fury figures are going to have an armor set? I see they are selling the recolors of the feet individually, but with all the remolding, in the chest and arms, I feel like any armor for this figure would need to be an entirely new mold.
There's been no reveal yet but I doubt it. It looks like the Ygdrassil SPG cannons haven't been remoulded, just repainted, so they may still fit on Mountain Fury's legs, but I don't think they're 'supposed' to.
Plus, the truck + trailer is two feet long Where the hell would u store/display THREE sets of them, plus the original version
Also, looking at Mountain Fury's feet, they're not in the same configuration as Frost Lights are and it doesn't look like the toe area folds up to fit into the SPG cannon.
Heads up - I just got invoiced for the Mithril Hawk Arche-Knights and the Yggdrasil Arche-Soldier Squad from ShowZ. They're coming thick and fast right now!! ***AND I just got invoiced from Gundamnit for Mountains Fury. Crikey. I'll have to wait til next month to get the other two now :S
SPG gun squad literally just arrived! Looks like my Berserker armour will be here tomorrow or Wednesday too
Got my berzerker armor, and can balance it, but the backwards motion on one of my frost lights hips is very loose, took it apart and all pieces are there, no breaks, anyone have any suggestions or know of any fix kits on the market?
Second Archecore delivery in two days arrived earlier! Look at Frost Light's little face - he's so excited to get a new pair of shoes! ShowZ have posted my two bunker sets out but I'm still waiting on my Stone'enges to be shipped. Tomorrow I'm paying off my first Mountains Fury, the Arche-Knight Paladins, the Yggdrasil squad and, hopefully, the Yggdrasil sniper set IF I can stretch to it :S
