Maybe we can all meet least half way and go with G2 Beachcomber. That way, at least there is still some green, but it also stays in line with an established character that actually has that alt mode:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't G.I. Joe have access to Spaceships? because those would be more preferable for Cosmos........or a new mold that gets slightly retooled into one for this Collab
I\'d probably want this, but for a completely different reason than starting a GI Joe collection. I\'d want this because it looks like a G1 restyling of the Military Bumblebee from the Bumblebee movie, and would give the Legacy Blitzwing a worthy opponent. I\'d also probably wait for the price to go down because HOLY SCRAP 68 bucks? I don\'t even know the size of the Bee and I already know it\'s a ripoff.
I mean, they do....but the leading candidate (at least off the top of my head) would be quite the spendy piece. (If Hasbro ever did this, I'd say throw caution to the wind and make it Sky Lynx. "Hugs and kisses LOL"
In theory you could do Sky Lynx as the main shuttle/crawler but then the secondary shuttle would make a good Jetfire or Cosmos.
Realistically, Hasbro will be looking to release sets that feature popular Joes and Transformers combos. As such, I'd look toward the following: GIJoe: MOBAT tank HAVOC Skystriker Conquest X30 VAMP Dragonfly Tomahawk Snowcat COBRA: Rattler Water Moccasin FANG Trouble Bubble Top Transformers still to use: Optimus Prime Starscream Soundwave Grimlock Jetfire Shockwave Arcee Popular Joes/Cobra: Duke Snake Eyes Scarlett Roadblock General Hawk Cobra Commander Storm Shadow Destro Zartan Dr Mindbender The idea that anyone else gets used before these guys is per my user handle. With success comes repaints, so let's hope the line continues that far. But right now, I'd be surprised if the likes if Beachcomber, Cosmos, Powerglide, Skywarp, or whatever second tier character even really gets mentioned during the planning phases of these sets. Hasbro wants them to sell to TF, Joe and retail masses alike.
The Snowcat is a Joe vehicle although it was redecoed as the Cobra Basilisk. -SS (Were you thinking of the Wolf or were you confused because of Energon Snowcat?)
Gawd I wish this would lead us to getting a new Snowstorm / Snow Cat. Still very curious to see if they do more of these either way, there's plenty of really cool Joe / Cobra vehicles that could make great TF's.
Nice! I am curious to see it in the ECO Striker colors, plus I think that would ultimately be the best version of this mold. Still, even strictly in the original AWE Striker colors, this would still be perfect as Beachcomber with the right head and the yellow parts in silver & blue.
That looks considerably better and works. Can't say I'd bite if it were that figure though. These crossovers with GI Joe this far feel like steps backwards in terms of engineering. And they're more expensive too, fetching commander price for this figure? Can't say the Megatron looked all that great either...
