I wouldn’t be mad at that! Honestly I could see them just doing a G2 line with like 5 G2 figures with Motormaster being the final one. The deluxes can be fit other places (selects, exclusives, etc.). But I wouldn’t mind if there was a full line of G2 Stunticons.

This is an old pic of the combiners wars menasor without the upgrade set and the truck instead of wild rider for the left leg, this is the configuration I used as I hated hasbros stock configuration. I use the same set up for my upgraded unite warriors menasor. Except for the skylynx combiner, menasor is the weakest without upgrades in desperate need of an update.

 

We really dont need it. We already had Alternate Prime to represent his second state in the movie, Kingdom Prime is there for the first. I'd rather see Snarl of all people.

 

I agree! The CW was rather disappointing (but better than nothing). Would be a shame to mess up again.

 

The arm bots have a built in elbow joint. It’s one of the 3 different arm configurations.

 

Oh I totally agree, it’s just I’m not Hasbro   This is something I could see HasTak doing, as I’m sceptical we’ll get a whole other new G1 Optimus so soon (still, 2024 will be a few years off…. Nothing would surprise me at this point!)

I'm fine with everything else about it. But they don't need to start ruining car bot molds by molding the panel to the back of the head. Imagine if they did Prowl that way.

the arms look very similar to the MP arms, and the legs are just as hollow as the ER datsuns and wheeljack. honestly the head is the worst thing for me, and even then its not too bad

 

It sounds more like the legs are just a frame to allow for a more stable figure while keeping the majority of each limb the cars themselves.

 

This worked very well for me. I'm impressed. The upgrade kit helps a great deal. If only he had looked like this from the get-go. =\

 

I’m just saying what I’ve seen people say about it. I had similar thoughts initially, but it’s grown on me. Still the weakest of the Wave 1 deluxes IMO based on the pictures we’ve gotten.

I'd be VERY surprised if we didn't see an SS86-style Devastator after Menasor. It'd be crazy to leave that money on the table.

I'd also buy a more 'accurate' - and much less leggy - SS86-style Prime. I'd love a better Megatron but have no idea how they'd do it with a compromised alt-mode.

 

I dont think a studio 86 devastator will be too long. I know people have been saying they've just reissued the titan one, but they've released older figures and newer versions close together before - e.g. Siege vs Earthrise.

Also with Megatron they could always do a 'Spaceship' mode with wings that if folded up together may accidently look like a gun handle

 

It would be so hindu to not do that when the molds are there. I agree: a G2 capsule collection is not only probable but desired.
And it would be the chance for G2 original characters to appear in the generations line-up. Like Powerdive, Ransack, Manta Ray...
