Bigger than MP 10 wow. Colors and proportions are great but the face sculpts are just off.

 

Could be worse, they could arms as long as mp10.

Okay after seeing the new pics, got dayum I had no idea it was gonna be this big. AND will run cheaper than the takara one in the long run. These guys might be my first 3P combiners

 

Between this & Takara I'll take theses guys. They are cleaner, cheaper & from a company that has proven they know how to make a stable combiner. Also damn does the Takara one look chugish & poorly painted even if rushed man I see brush strokes, not a good presentation.

 

Yeah Takara ones paint looks weird   like someones cheap custom transformer  

 

It's a prototype...it's not like it will look like that when it's released.

 

So are these out in some places or are they just promo shots?

 

ALSO...to be FAIR, the TT looks completely painted while the Moon Studio uses the colored plastic (which I prefer). There are just some fans who prefer completely painted for the sake of being completely painted. Options are good.

 

Almost like its hand painted or something. insane.

 

Does it matter tho? We always hear the same “it’s mistransformed” “that’s just hand painted paint” but then they release and they transformed correctly and the paint is just as thick and globby as it was in images.

 

Probably because it is hand painted. It's a prototype.

I don't get why that's insane? It's pretty standard across the board.

For the recent ultra toon accurate stuff maybe, they try and paint every single crevice of those for that cartoon look. I doubt this will be painted from top to bottom like that, the blue will probably be plastic and the gunmetal is pretty hard to screw up.
we'll know for sure when the Skids mold drops, every photo so far has been the hand painted prototype but I highly doubt the final product is going to be like that considering the lower price point they picked for it.

 

Idk the price tag suggests it’s fully painted, but then again Takara prices things really high painted or not so like you said, guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

 

I don’t know, I think it’s painted to reflect the wear and tear of trains that are constantly in battle or sitting outside all day waiting for Destron activity. Check out the realistic bird poop stains.

You do you, but Moon Studios looks better in both modes so why even bother with the official?
