I think it would be some time in between. With regular releases and the time spent on a combiner, there’ll be some space in between,

19,800 yen for the first one? Eeehhhh. That is going to be a tough decision. Looks good next to Prowl, Sideswipe and Magnus in the video though.

Lots of new angles, real size, an actual pic of Raiden’s shape, and some card art goodness.

Funny how that pic with Magnus and company mimics the first episode of Headmasters

    Now that's surprising:

That's the actual correct type of coupler. Would be even more surprised if it's useable/functional (way too small for human fingers, and coupling distance is always fudged on toy trains), but I suspect there's a bigger less-accurate one you install to actually couple to the other team members.

Is Raiden standing with his left leg forward or is the right leg a lot skinnier? I hope they show off all of them in the next two months or so since obviously they have at least the designs and renders done.

I honestly think this looks fine for what it is. Yeah, the price is kind of bonkers, but it'll probably ratchet down to 14k yen or so, so I guess it's about standard for the size, plus you're paying for that piece of track, too. I like it enough, I just still don't plan on buying any Trainbots :lol

Think it’s the angle, one thigh looks larger, Kaen should be a beefy boy that silhouette looks like CW Superions’s waist.

I've had a knock-off Raiden for ages. It's a very cool design. And this thing is definitely beautiful.

But yeah, I just can't justify the 1.2K plus tax et all it would take to get it. I've spent plenty on TFs before, and a decent amount on some individual ones here and there. But that's collectively just a little too far.

Well, I have to say that this is looking pretty good. It’s more expensive than I’d like (but everything is these days). I’m thinking I’m going to try to fit this into my toy budget. And, if this set turns out well, I’m hoping they’ll tackle Devastator next. (Not that this thread needs to be derailed into a what’s next thread... pun not necessarily intended.)

Trains are my freaking weakness, but unsure if I can justify a months rent on a set of these without seeing he final product from the get go. Still feeling a bit disappointed from SS Devastator.

At least its not a boxed set though.

Ok. I am also thinking that Shouki is enlarged in that combined mode shot to put the focus on him more otherwise Raider’s face is obscured by his chest

Damn, almost 2 bills. Looks absolutely amazing, but that’s too rich for my blood. Almost $800 for the team, you’re in KO Masterpiece territory there…
