Unless the listing was cut off and it is (FALL OF) Cybertron Metroplex?   Would buy that in a heartbeat.
I really dunno why they would make such an awful design as Cybertron Metroplex at Titan scale, when his transformation is so primitive (he essentially kneels and bends down on his face) and half of his alt mode is the huge shovel wheel weapon.

If Jhiaxus is not his own mold but that terrible orange repaint/remold again, I am going to go... well, all Jhiaxus on the design team.  

No thanks, crappy fake wheels and hidden parts, nope. That's what the terribly expensive and incredibly flat and undetailed cartoon accurate Takara Masterpiece line is for.

My only concern for that is if the Metroplex would be compatible with the core class or not, like the all the other titans interact with the smallest size class in the line, all except the ark, which was the first titan with the technically new class. I really hope that if it is either version that I can properly be able to display at less core class figures with it. That also gives me an idea, I wonder if anyone is in the market for a properly scaled Metroplex for their "Legends" figures

 

I wonder if we'll still get Blaster this year like some folks said we might.

Beast Machines is maybe the most deserving line for new figures in TF history, given how many in the original run were just godawful. Horribly inaccurate, poorly designed, or immensely fragile - sometimes all three. Absolute travesty, considering the Beast Wars lines it followed. I know I'm one of 12 people in existence who likes those designs to begin with, but I'd kill for new figs - especially the likes of Silverbolt, Botanica, etc.

 

How could it have possibly failed when only one of the actual Beasts from the toyline was even in the show and out of the regular guys, Prime, Smokescreen, and Shockwave were the only ones that didn't look completely stupid?

I meant in terms of scale. Core class seems too small for Ratchet and SS typically adheres to movie scale. If Kup, Acree, etc are Deluxes then it stands to reason that Ratchet would be too.

 

@Jtprime17 @wreckgar39 @Apollux @CactusReporter a question for you - I’ve been thinking about SS86 and Selects - Hot Rod and Scourge are getting or have gotten retail releases of color variants while Kingdom Galvatron and Cyclonus are getting those releases in Selects. Why is SS86 padding its lineup with these redecos/slight remolds? Is it that the two lines are fiefdoms that won’t generally share or is it a case of SS86 having its own budget so it has a limit on the molds it can develop on its own? Edit - forgot this question - why is the Sweep and the Hot Rod Variant not in selects?

 

I think the idea is he would fit in with the other G1 Core figs, just released under the SS86 banner.
Not my ideal, but that's what it's sounding like.

I sincerely doubt that. Laser Rod Prime has a very different transformation and a long-nosed truck alt mode, with the truck hood becoming his shoulders, I cannot see them changing ER Prime for that.
However, I dunno why they do not make a G2 Optimus Prime? It'd be a simple matter to add a "voice pack" addon to his trailer, 2 new guns and maybe a bullet-ridden new head mold.  

 

Where was it said he would be sharing ER Optimus' legs? I wouldn't be completely against the idea but I would prefer if they were at least slightly new so the wheels would face forward on the legs rather than backwards

This is just the first year of Legacy. It'll most likely be 3 years long, so still plenty of chances for the rest of the Dinos

 

That may be so, but the 2011-12 guys should still be ok. That'd be like Hasbro deciding to not do 84-86 guys because 88-90 was a flop.

 

I wonder if he will even turn into anything, or be like SS DotM Shockwave, and just crunch into a jumble of limbs they can handwave away as a spaceship?
Also, hoping he comes with a removeable face and an opening chest for Kali Ma scene re-enaction.  

Yeah, but I assumed they would want to release all the characters from the movie as near to the anniversary as possible.

 

Because people like it? I mean I probably won’t pick it up but just because you don’t like does not mean there is no point in having it.
