That's what I was hoping. Thanks! I have the MP-11 Skywarp and was looking for a Walmart Skywarp's stand to use with it, since it didn't come with one.

Love it, great job making that pose work in 3D!

Believe me I considered the digibash route :lol  though after seeing @Jarrod's beyond-perfect custom, I lost the will to do that deco on this mold! :)

Wow. I want an MP G2 ramjet so bad. It was one of my favorite figures way back in the day - that and G2 Sideswipe and Jazz were the first figures I bought with my own money.

I got this guy recently. I got it much cheaper than I’d expect for a genuine masterpiece from an eBay seller, largely as it has minor scratches on the belly area. You can hardly see them, so I think it’s worth it’s for the discount. That’s assuming it is genuine and the seller wasn’t lying about that (who can tell for sure with eBay…)

Ordered Monday last week. Arrived Wednesday along with SS86 Wreck-gar and Slag. I was well impressed with that. (I’ll deal with the other two in the relevant thread. Curiously, though, of the three this Masterpiece had the simplest transformation. Not a criticism- it works just fine, and the modern toys are way too fiddly in that regards).

Not the greatest picture, and apologies for the mess in the back ground. Just in itself I think that ray gun is a pretty cool toy. I haven’t installed any batteries yet, and while those gimmicks aren’t a priority for me, I’m keen to install them at some point in this case. And a nice array of extra bits there, too. Comparing it with the smaller accessory version was interesting. They did a real good job of capturing the form in that smaller scale! I found it interesting that in the cartoon (and I think, Marvel comics) he never actually mass-shifts, so the gun is more of a giant cannon really. It just happens to look like an archetypal laser pistol. :p  Not a criticism, it works as both.

Comparison with Galvatron could be interesting (I’ve yet to transform my Kingdom Galvatron). They both form almost archetypal ray gun/cannon modes, yet very different.

Transforming was quite pleasant and uncomplicated. Most awkward bit was pulling does his belly panel. It was very stiff and didn’t want to go all the way, (maybe I should phrase that better), but I managed it in the end. (That’s what she … I will not finish that sentence.)

    Anyway: ta-da!

Sorry not the best focussed there. A very cool unique design, I think. Rather different from the other transformers. I favour the transparent version of his arm gun at the moment, although that might change.

And alongside my next most recent Masterpiece acquisition.

His eye glows very nicely with a light-source behind, by the way. Capturing that while having him standing is easier said than done though.

So I finally have all the original Decepticon officers in Masterpiece! I may transform Starscream (he is displayed in front of Skywarp in jet mode off-camera there) and get out Megatron and Soundwave for a group shot later.

    Anyway, pleased with him!

A couple of curious things that struck me about him:

He is the one guy with a big backpack, who doesn’t really need it. Most transformers have backpacks as it’s a way to store alt-form stuff that couldn’t form part of their humanoid form. Shockwave has a bit of that going on, but it’s actually quite flat.

In this case the large backpack is a way of storing the gun’s stand accessory. Some might say, superfluous for this form yet it looks pretty good installed. Cleans up his appearance somewhat, (not that he looked particularly bad) and it tabs in much better than the folded up bit underneath does by itself.

Second curious thing- the cable doesn’t actually plug into that backpack. I kind of thought it was meant to be a big power source for his arm cannon. Kinda like those things those other eighties characters, the Ghostbusters sport. I guess it still could be, and that part of the connection is internal. It doesn’t really matter, I just thought it curious.

Shockwave is awesome. If you're worried about him being legit, there are two easy ways to tell. If his chest window is completely clear, it's a KO. The legit one is slightly frosted. Also, if his hands have swivel joints but not ball joints, it's a KO.

Thanks. It appears to be a KO then. On one hand it's understandable concerning the price. On the other, I've seen other KOs (advertised as such,) brand new for 1/3 the price I paid. Grr. I guess the seller might have been unaware themselves, but...
