"OK. Just gotta go faster than the speed of light. Far beyond the speed of light. You gotta break the rule, Blurr, and you gotta do it now..."

    "I've got to help Prime!"
"Stay away, lad! That's Prime's fight!"

Blurr as a source of time travel would be interesting.

I'd have the movie crew come to 1986 causing Unicron to arrive to Cybertron early, accidentally erasing their timeline.

Just have to say, your photos are amazing. I've been dabbling for a while. My poses are good, but your pics make mine look like I drew them in crayon. How did you get that metallic sheen on Megs?

    Thank you! Much appreciated!!

    20210901_175657_HDR~2.jpg

I think a lot of the pop comes from the lighting. I use these LED wand lights I got from Home Despot... they're basically these...

    https://www.amazon.com/LETOUR-LED-T...uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

    20210901_175949_HDR~2.jpg

    As for Megatron...

I own the ToyHouseFactory version.. DYNASTRON. He's basically the slightly less shiney version of MagTen and MP-36+.

Below, I tried to take the same picture twice... once with know extra LED lighting, and once with the Letour lights.

    20210901_174342_HDR~3.jpg 2X Letour LED

Not bad. And they're GREAT for finding small plastic bits that fly to the far side of the room!

    And now THIS

    20210901_164327_HDR~2.jpg

TF Source has that sale going on... and I was just looking at the YesModel version on eBay.
    So...

    20210901_164510_HDR~2.jpg

I can't believe how old this figure is... and yet it still looks fresh!! Love the treads!!

Aesthetically, I think the Maketoys really nailed their versions of Hardhead and Chromedome!!

If I had any grievances, its nothing I didn't already know about... gappy elbows and knees.. but overall, for 60 bucks... not a bad figure!!

So now... at long last... I finally have a second headmaster.

I love seeing Ironwill with FT Apache! Their greens almost make them look related.

    20210901_172421_HDR~2.jpg
    20210901_173327_HDR~2.jpg

I haven't transformed Ironwill yet... I mean, I just got the figure today.

But so far... I'm thinking that MakeToys knocked it outta the park back in 2015 or 16 when they originally released this figure!!

    Til next time!

I had the Yes Model KOs in my shopping cart at some point at ShowZ but didn't get them because I have no connection to them. Your photos convinced me to pull the trigger just now, EXCEPT they've gone up in price and Chromedome's sold out. So I guess it wasn't meant to be for me.

I think Maketoys did a really good job with Chromedome and Hardhead. Just finished watching Headmasters all the way through for the first time. While the writing is "interesting" (aka heavily padded, sometimes crazy subtitles, very Japanese) I can say that the actual animation was pretty good for this series. All the Headmasters looked good.

My biggest grievance with the Maketoys Headmasters? They only made 2 of the 4 Autobots (and you'll need to pay out the xxx for FansToys Decepticon Headmasters). Still need Highbrow and Brainstorm, plus a $60 price for each would be appreciated. Don't know how these MP figures are still so cheap.

I don't see any 3rd party in this picture. And ironically it's the two Takara bots that most desperately need 3rd party upgrades.

Thanks! I wanted to pose him being a little more epic, but the weight of the DNA gun and shield have turned his ratchets to butter. :(
