They may be close to Generations deluxe size, but they're more complex and delicate. They feel more like MP than Generations. Personally, I want something closer to Generations. You know, a toy you can handle without fear you'll break it.

 

I'd like a new Cy-Kill at least, at least one at a retail deluxe price point. The Action Toys ones cost more than I'm willing to pay for something I only have a loose attachment to.

 

They're not going to do the concept justice so why bother?

No, really. It's become ironically contrarian for people to like "GoBots." Except with, you know, all sorts of changes so it's different. Let's reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...except as infant alien librarian jackrabbits...WTF I love TMNT!1one. After seeing so many coma-inducing G1 reboots and mountains of hipster idiocy in other franchises, I would rather let GoBots rest in peace.

 

I would like to see some GoBots, definitely Cy-Kill, Crasher, and Leader-1

 

Unicron should eat Gobotron in the opening of the new TF movie. Lots of gorey scenes of Gobots being grinded up and melted in acid, torn apart by Unicron's stomach tentacles, etc.

For stake building, of course.

 

A Go-bot revival would be mouthflicking epik! it would definitely wash out the taste of that grabo "reimagining" that came out a few years forever and FIVEVER.
I would at least like a botcon styled box set with some new fiction to go with it. (maybe in a similar tone to the early transformers IDW stuff?)

I'd like to see them... but considering how much the property's been shat upon in Transformers? I don't trust anyone to do right by the characters.

 

As a testing ground, I'd look at Cyberverse. The series might be coming to an end but the toy line might extend beyond the show.

 

If Hasbro is able to revive Go-Bots with Bandai’s blessing (toy designs and the lore) as a collaborative project, they should keep it separate from Transformer universe.

It should be it’s own thing, like in the 80s. A full on nostalgic line.

I still don't get all the hate for Go-Bots. For what they were, they were great: budget transformering mini figures. It's not a fair comparison to compare them to larger Transformers like Optimus Prime, Starscream, Grimlock, etc. They were in the same size and price point as TF Mini Cars. Compared to the TF Mini Cars, Go-Bots are more detailed, have more complex transformations, and had more metal parts. The Go-Bots cartoon was abysmal but the toys were great.

 

I wouldn't mind it myself but not as an entire Transformers line in and of itself. Besides Bandai might have something to say about it since they own the Machine Robo line. But a few repaint homages here and there would not be too bad. I would still live to see RID 15 Twinferno repainted/remolded into a Pincher homage.

 

I'd love a Go-bots revival. Or at least incorporating Go-bots characters into the TF line.

 

I just want a 2 tone Gray Jet inspired by Leader 1 with yellow goggles and an exposed chin.

I agree, Cyberverse would be a fantastic choice to start.

They introduced several new characters there, Gobots should be ok (within legal reason).

And if they're terrible, "What do you expect, it's CYBERVERSE!"
