Music is one thing that the movies do better than other transformers media, Steve Jablonsky made sure of that.

Jablonsky...no one else. Pretty sure his scores were the only unanimous feelings about the first 5 movies

Steve Jablonsky has five Transformers movies under his belt. Given they're moving in a new direction, I feel they should get a new composer to help further differentiate this new continuity (despite Jablonsky's good work on previous films). I'd like for them to move away from orchestral scores and opt for something more "fitting" for a 1990s Transformers movie.

This is how I feel too. We're moving into a new era of Transformers films, it only makes sense to change up the score too. There are tons of composers out there who could do great Transformers scores, it seems silly to keep hiring the same one over and over again.

Out of all the people associated with the Bayverse that I'd most like to return are Josh Nizzi and Steve Jablonsky, both men are super talented at what they do and would contribute greatly.

I didn't like Steve's work in TLK, felt like he burned out, but even him at his worst was still better than the very boring music the Bumblebee movie composer did, so I would rather have someone completely new.

i'd say no, he's a good composer but i feel like he isn't a good fit for the direction the transformers films are going in. i'd dream of shiro sagisu composing as i've said a dozen times but that likely will never happen. it'hard to think of other composers that i'd like but Daniel Pemberton might be a good fit, his music for spiderverse would be a good fit for future tf films with stronger focus on techno.

Yes, he should come back. I for one didn't find any of the music in BB, memorable nor held any value of any importance to the scene's given. A strong example, I can point of. Where BB gets captured, In steve's you felt the tone. How sad and emotionally it was being built up too. As for The Bumblebee movie, it was bland and didn't have much value to offer

    Steve's

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Dario's

    --------------------------------------------------------

    The Difference
As stated, Steve's hold a lot more emotion and the whole weight of tone among the scene. As for Dario's, it felt too much alike to what some marvel music is like. And I am not calling out Marvel. I am merely stating the difference between the two. Personally, I am unsure what the future holds for these films; however, I'd like it if they kept Steve. His music is by far one of my favorite's, outside of Hans Zimmer of course.

I think Steve Jablonsky is definite must have. It's most likely that when Steve was doing the Bay films he stuck to an outlined score style from the 2007 movie to onwards. I'd say if he had some different music direction, the score wouldn't sound like a 1:1 of per Bay films but would sound just as great to have in the newer films. Even if the score tone was different.

What about Vince DiCola? I think he can still do a great job as a composer. Here are some examples I found on YouTube:

Well that's simply because of all the cut scenes and such in TLK , he even stated in a interview that he had to almost redo the whole score because of what was cut last minute

Steve is a great composer but I really hope Stephen Caple Jr. reteams with Ludwig Göransson, which I could see being a possibility. Ludwig is genuinely one of the best composers working today and he would without a doubt make something really special for transformers

I'd prefer if they brought someone else to do the score.

BB's capture scene in Bumblebee doesn't really go for the same tone and is more action-oriented than TF 2007. The track Death and Resurrection is a slightly fairer comparison.

On a side note, I do think Dario Marianelli's score is a little underrated. As much I love Jablonsky, I don't think anything struck a chord with me emotionally as much as the Bumblebee / Charlie motif at 3:28.

If there is one thing the Bayverse films does right in its music. So of course he should compose another film.
