White Marsh Target only had that same leader optimus and the core assortment, along with a bunch of BB figs. The Bel Air Target had even less still. Not a single studio series.

 

Went to Bel Air, Abingdon, White Marsh, Towson, and Cockeysville Targets and only saw a couple Paleotrex, SS86 Hot Rods, and Kingdom Leader Prime besides the 1 Primal and 1 SS86 Scourge that I bought. Good news is that Cockeysville Walmart has Kingdom now. They had 1 Paleotrex and 1 Cheetor. They also had 1 Netflix Prime and a bunch of Netflix Wheeljacks.

 

Columbia Target has a Hot Rod and two Thrusts. Montgomery Target has a Thrust. Nothing else of note at either that I noticed.

 

If anyone is after the g1 boxed tr headmasters, pasadena Walmart has a set.

 

They're gone. Pickings are slim and heartbreakingly sad.

 

Bowie Target had the kingdom leaders sittin sideways like paul wall.
An Optimus, maybe two, and one Megatron left.

One SS86 Hot Rod in the regular section, and one more with another SS86 Voyager behind it on an endcap a few aisles down.
Might be Scourge behind there, didn't look. Just got off work and was in a hurry to get home sorry lol

 

Has anyone seen any Netflix Soundwaves or Bumblebees lately? Seems like I'm always too late for those.

 

Hagerstown Walmart (Not the one on Walmart Drive) has 1 Primal, 1 Paleotrek, and 1 Cheetor with a scuffed up Cheetah nose.

Walmart on Walmart Drive is a war zone. Nothing of note.

Hagerstown Target is empty. Saw a few tumbleweeds. Not sure if they were new stock or old.

 

Aberdeen target is a tumbleweed fest too.

 

Towson target is a wasteland as well. Just some scattered Cyberverse stuff and a few of the Buzzworthy BB/Spike packs.

 

Does anyone here know how often Target restocks Transformers? Ive gone to the Bel Air Target everyday at opening for a week straight hoping to find a Kingdom Beast Megatron and Cyclonus and it’s looked the same everyday. I preordered the entire Kingdom Wave 1 at Target but those 2 plus Primal were cancelled without notice on January 1. I’ve received the rest of Wave 1 and found Primal at the Abingdon Target.

 

I dont know when they get restocks but I have also been trying to find cyclonus in the Harford County area with no luck. I got my hod rod a week ago at Abingdon target but no luck with cyclonus yet...

 

They get trucks on an almost daily basis. What comes in on those trucks is not decided at the store level though. That is made based off of sales and whats available at the distribution centers. I believe our closest one is in southern Virginia if I remember correctly. Plenty of things get left off of those trucks too, everything is basically just dumped in there and it gets sorted as they unload.

 

White Marsh Target has the small Transformer G1 statues. I saw Grimlock, Optimus, Starscream and Bumblebee there, with a couple of each. There was one of the BB series with the dumptruck armor, as well. Not much else Kingdom or SS86 wise.

 

Germantown Target has a pretty standard array of Buzzworthy figures, no SS86 or Kingdom except a Leader Optimus. They have the ROTF Soundwave/Arcee SS wave if anyone’/ still looking for those.

Germantown Walmart’s Transformers selection is exceptionally pathetic. Just three Cyberverse Arcees, two Netflix Elitas, and a Netflix Optimus. They do however have the new Vintage Collection wave with the Battle Droid, TIE Pilot, Queen Amidala, and Peasant Disguise Anakin.

 

I love how every Target has those Buzzworthies in, but mainline stuff? Barely. I genuinely do not know how Bees sell so well, I never see people buying them. I suppose it must be when I'm not there, because duh, but it just seems weird that people keep buying copies of the same toys they already have with no actual changes. Redecos, sure, but the exact same toy with different packaging?

Weird.

 

They probably got both in, but main line sold out while BBB stuff will shelf warm

 

What is the purpose of the "Buzzworthy" stuff? I see the stuff in the store and they have that branding on Studio Series reissues, that random pack with penny racer bee and spike, and I think a few other things. Was this just Hasbro saying "let's release and re-release some random stuff from multiple different lines and write "Buzzworthy Bumblebee" on the box? Or am I missing something?
