No problem. Dang I should have also mentioned the Walmart on Precinct Line had all the R.E.D. figures.

 

actually, I saw red figures at a lot of walmarts today
I think the one off 820 by iron horse had them too.
I keep waffling on whether i want the megatron. I have no megatrons other than the TLK voyager. None of them look right to me, and RED is the closest I've seen so far, but he's so small.
I'll start updating more as I go a hunting.
I picked up a rogue $5 Refraktor at that walmart today too, lol

Yeah the only RED I picked up is Soundwave (because Soundwave superior lol). I haven’t convinced myself to get the other ones yet. The only thing left for me to hunt is the Netflix wave 2 whenever those hopefully start showing up.

 

R.E.D. has joined the ranks of Studio Series and wave one Netflix Siege to warm the shelves at Walmart in McKinney Texas.

After opening RED Soundwave, I don't see these things selling at all. I'm completely fine with a non-transforming Transformer as a desk accessory, but these feel off in a big way. Soundwave's shoulder cannon will barely stay in place, and his fingers nearly broke when I tried to insert the gun in his hand. I bought all 3, but I'm going to return them and spend my money elsewhere.

 

yeah they aren’t very good in my opinion. I got Soundwave because I have to get all G1 Soundwaves. But I won’t be getting more. The plastic feels like the stuff on the back of Logitech remotes. The soft touch rubbery stuff that eventually gets all gunky. The figures aren’t even close to being as articulated as the WFC transforming figures. Also, the paint apps on the ones I’ve looked at are pretty sloppy too.

 

I think they're for the Marvel Legends crowd. I'm really excited for them. But Mega SCF and Revolteck both failed to take off. Transformers fans REALLY hate non-transforming figures.

 

Ya okay well I won't be getting those RED figures then. Only thing I'm trying to find right now is a mpm Ironhide at Ross. Hoping one of my local Ross' gets some in soon.

 

I don’t want to dissuade you from getting what you want obviously, but I do want to add that as a person who has a small collection of Marvel Legends (maybe 50 or so figures), the plastic quality and articulation on the RED figures do not stack up well to Marvel Legends/Black Series/Lightning Collection. Again, this is just my opinion, but I feel like Hasbro kind of cheaped out on these figures. The number of accessories is nice, as well as the idea behind the line. I just think the execution was botched.

Edited to add: while I admit that I’m normally not a fan of non-transforming transformers, I was still planning on getting Soundwave, OP, and Megatron just because of how good they looked in pictures and the number of accessories that came with them. But after having Soundwave in hand, I’ve been disappointed.

 

To get this thread back on track, Ross by Ridgmar mall has 1 each of Siege Ultra Magnus, Astrotrain, Springer, Starscream, and Skytread right now.
