Unfortunately @PrimeVsPrime mistransformed the lightbar too but it is a waaaaaay better review than Tonton's. Got me hyped. This is my no.1 want for 2020. Hopefully it releases before the year ends.

Hoping PvP or someone else takes some good photos with the correct transformation to share.

I'm assuming they're plastic tires, since he probably would have mentioned rubber. They appear to be hollow, too. Bummer.

I really regret not going the Target route. I was hesitant as they have cancelled many pre orders on me in the past. So at least TFsource would send it to me eventually instead of canceling it.

 

most if not all of my collection is takara instead of hasbro, but ratchet’s price on target is too good a deal to pass up than the $150+ from aj. should be fine though since the mpm releases between the two have been the same, as opposed to the g1 mp releases from the past.

 

To be fair, since the whole brand integration thing started, every release aside from MPM-04 has been identical between companies, masterpiece or otherwise.

@PrimeVsPrime wow! Your review looks pretty nice buddy! I gotta admit Ratchet looks like a very well designed toy. Would you mind confirming that the color is different in hand? It’s lemon laser yellow in al the pics and videos I’ve seen.

 

Here are BMB Optimus and Ironhide, with Movie Voyager Ratchet and MPM Bee and Jazz.



With MPM Ratchet being a little taller than MPM Bee, I think he'll fit with the 2 OSKOs and the 2 official figs very nicely.

Edit- new pics in the Live Action Movie Toy thread seem to show MPM Ratchet is the same height as, or perhaps a touch shorter than, Voy Ratchet. Don't care, he looks great.

Thank you!   The colour is very similar to the SS version just a tad lighter, I’ll take some photos in different lighting conditions later but here’s one taken in natural lighting

 

Isn’t it possible to fold down the flaps on the back of his legs? You didn’t do that in the video?

Any update on those photos with the light bars turned down?

 

I like most of the toy, but the backpack and shoulders kill it for me. Especially the latter. Backpack is necessary evil, but those shoulders...They just sit too low and have the wheels sit too far back. Shame because it does look great, it's just those two points that make me go no bueno. :/

Just curious ....with all this figure does right, you'd let the shoulder and wheel placement steer you from purchasing this?
