Reasonably confidant those pictures I posted on the previous page are the final look, or close enough to it that it won't make any appreciable difference. TransFans added a few more pics from the Weibo the day after those, but since I'm no longer interested I didn't post them.

As to when? Yeah, can't really be sure on that. OMP just posted a Q2 2020 ETA on their Facebook if that helps.

FWIW it looks like the base unit will be around the same price as its predecessors, if not a tiny bit less, but the shipping will be a consideration depending upon where you get it from.

 

Black deco with a little red accent. When in bot mode, made some gold should be seen where the silver might usually be.

 

I don't like the camo. I think they should've gone with solid green like the GI Joe Rolling Thunder. Or Nemesis Prime colors to counter the original Optimus Prime release.

 

A solid green with weathering or even dry brushed "battle-damage" would have been preferable if they were keeping the same green/gray scheme.
Desert camo or snow camo would have made this remould way more appealing.

Its the same designer but Cang Toys itself is branched off from Toyworld.

 

The person who does the video broadcast is actually one of the Taobao seller where they usually do video broadcast to showcase some of the new toys which they are selling and trying to get more interest from the buyer. I would say just a conindence where this 2 appear together

Man I really hope we get a separate upgrade kit! The new parts look great! Just can't justify two 90% identical 200$ figures to the wife.

 

I'm kind of sad that they didn't go with a white gray and blue camo scheme to invoke kind of an Ultra Magnus feel. they can also include an extra Cybertron Red Alert head 4 extra value.

Saving my money right now so I can at least grab the original camo version before it's sold out

According showz it's 24cm, without his boots. I saw the other version. It's about 26cm with add-ons.
Show me any link it's 12 inches, I will look it up.
