This is a question i have about switching out MP05's head. So theres an upgrade kit for mp36 that has that beautiful toy head, and i was wondering if it was possible to pop it on mp05? the original 05 head is ugly as sin, and i think it would look better with the upgraded toy look. has anyone tried this, and would this be possible?

edit: also would anyone know how a OS Weijiang head would look on mp05? would it fit?

 

MP36 is a smaller figure than MP05, so the figure might appear pin-headed.

 

but do you know if it would be possible to make it a functional articulated head?

 

Sorry, I am not totally sure about that. MP-36's head is on a ball joint. If you can place a ball joint onto MP-05's neck, you may be able to get it to work.

The ball on MP-05 is smaller than on MP-36. It would be easy enough to modify one to fit the other. The easiest way to do that would put some epoxy putty in the socket of the MP-36 head and press it onto the ball of MP-05. Turn it a little as it dries to allow for posing and bam, done.

I do not have the Weijiang Evolution Master but at his size the head would probably look more in scale with MP-05.

 

do you know where i could get just the heaD? i cant seem to find weijiangs email or anything.

 

For that, I would head to The Junkion Exchange and post that you're looking for one. Also, if someone would be willing to lend you one you could find someone (if not yourself) to mold/cast it.

 

The head can be modified, but there's limits to it (depending upon transformability).
