Completed both my MPM scale and SS scale movie 1 cons recently, so I thought I'd line them up.

 

I just ordered Shockwave and Scavenger on Amazon.ca.

However, While Shockwave will be here next week, Scavenger won't be till next month to March.

Trouble is, I'm always using my family's Amazon account when ordering from there. I keep thinking I should open my own. But whenever I bring it up to my family they say, "Why do you need to open one when you can use our's, just as long as you pay us back."

 

Mine still shows the same thing since November 26.

 

Contact the retailer, they should send you another one. That first one is just lost in transit at this point.

For anyone that does own both DOTM deluxe Ratchet and SS Ratchet....... if I still owned the DOTM deluxe, was is necessary to replace it with the SS deluxe?

From the thrift store that I bought my ROTF deluxe Armorhide previously, I also saw 2 DOTM deluxe Ratchet being sold for a pretty good price of around USD 9.75 (The same price as the second-hand ROTF Armorhide that I bought from there). Both of those figures are sold loose without their original packaging, but they're complete with no missing parts and include their original Mechtech weapon.

I didn't really care about movieverse Ratchet as a character that much, and I just wanted a Ratchet to go with my SS Autobots.

Definitely replace the ROTF Ratchet with the SS version!!

I know some will disagree, but while it's technically the same mold, it's a bit taller, they got rid of the car parts on the knee, and fixed the backpack.

Yes the roof rack hangs down his back, but a really easy mod can fix that!!

I wouldn't say necessary but if you could only have 1, you're better off with the SS. It's solid in both modes(unlike some other SS deluxes) and quite clever to transform. Poseability is a little better too.

 

No, they don't use Prime. Which I find weird, why they won't.

Overall a decent figure, but pose ability gets more and more annoying as time goes on...
