yeah, that's why i couldn't get Seige Ultra Magnus, the vehicle mode was so freaking tiny.
(i hate that they are going off the Sunbow size charts, i much prefer "relative vehicle" scaling.

 

Blast effect packs with generic battlemasters would probably sell pretty well.

 

First impressions, these look fantastic, and great homages to G1 figures. While I like Generations Wheeljack and RTS Grapple, they seemed to be new takes on OG characters while these look to be more straight G1 looks which I dig. T30 Hoist came out of a period where I thought we got some of the worst deluxes, and this thing blows it out of the water. Nice to have a more slavish Hoist to put in the classics collection. Fat bots for life.

 

I just checked, it's an earth car mode, c'mon please make that more clear next time as being only your opinion, you almost got my Hope's up and shattered

Yeah, the way I collect - I have the G1 toy in vehicle mode with "the best non-MP articulated representation of the character" in robot mode behind it...........so you see my dilemma with these new figures ha......I'm essentially upgrading most of the "generations" guys with these new ones strictly because they "look like they just walked out of the cartoon"

I expect the same. That is the perfect spot for such a redeco.

I have bought two each of the base weaponizers. I considered the same for the powerdashers, but the fanvote pack throws me off! I'm tempted to go up to three for the mobile base sets. Though with four they could be bot mode, one variation of the base, another variation off the base, and weaponizing another figure..

Grapple--Open forearms look terrible, not a huge fan.
Wheeljack--Wish he was a Cybertronian, but he looks perfect otherwise.
Cliffjumper--Looks really articulated, might have to pick him up.
Hoist--I don't care about the character, but it gives me hope for a Trailbreaker.
Optimus--A decent sidegrade from the Siege voyager.
Starscream--Pretty much perfect, if we don't get Skywarp and Thundercracker I will riot.

A quick reaction just looking at these pictures I'll finally have a Cliffjumper to go with my Classics Bumble YES! I'll be replacing Grapple and Hoist, and possibly Wheeljack but on the fence there. Prime I'll be sticking with what I have and that Starscream I'm not sure if the Classic mold is better or not, looks like my table at the show next year will have some clearance Classic TF's.

 

OK. so basically the reveals are Optimus, Wheeljack, Hoist, Cliffjumper, Grapple, Earth Starscream, some new "Deluxe" Cyberverse figures and most pleasing, Zarak, right? Is that it? Just curious.

 

So everyone's talking about having to re-buy the seekers but.... what about Sideswipe? Does his inclusion mean we can expect Earth modes of Red Alert, Prowl, Smokescreen, etc also? Red Alert is the only one I bought, so I will probably get at least one earth mode of a different character.

Yeah but it isn't identical to a 35 year old cartoon that many of us didn't actually watch when it was first on the air. That's the toyline now.
