Remember how they used to do Bayverse designs in G1 colors as store exclusives and even did G1 heads for the Dinobots?

They kind of did that with Legion class figs but if they did that here, with a head that only has to go as far as a Bumblebee style head, I’d be tempted.

Not super interested, but I continue to be impressed with how much hasbro has been remolding and retooling lately. In the old days there would have been a head swap, a new paint job, and MAYBE a new gun and that’s it.

 

Yes! My favorite version of Hot Rod because in the movie he looked nothing like Hot Rod, he sounded nothing like Hot Rod, and not only did he act nothing like Hot Rod, but there is no way the scene this figure references could ever have happened!
It's a perfect example of the Bayverse; no respect for the source material and no respect for his own movies.

 

the blue on the eyes looks good, i'm still theorizing this mold is going to be used for jeep bee because ss seems to have trouble with licensing ww2 vehicles
