Yeah when Soundwave was introduced, that was a geek out worthy moment.

One of the things RoTF did right was Soundwave. His ominous presence floating in earth orbit coordinating the decepticons in true chief communications officer fashion was perfect.

I always say this that they got the silent killer persona for Soundwave right. That he transformed into a satellite, I thought he was as tall as optimus or even Lockdown.

Although I also hoped he had a variant of his vocoder voice with a deeper and gravelly tone, the voice he had I warmed up to.

I liked whatever few lines he had "Soundwave acknowledges. Pursue her. Retrieve it" and "Decepticons, mobilize. It is time."

So his radical change in DoTM was a total disappointment for me.

 

I had that Bumblebee and Shia one too. I was 8 and loved it but couldn’t get it to transform lmao
