From these reveals, Spinister is the clear easy winner for me. Heck, I’m already looking forward to any reuses

Let’s see: 180 degree knees. Double jointed elbows. Maybe a transformation ab crunch? Wrist swivel. Ankle tilt. Feet become the weapon racks. A nice kibble free robot mode. And if they figured out how to lock the blades on his back like that... wow!

Astrotrain is pretty good too. Hopefully there’s some work on the back of that shuttle, Has? Still the TR is obsolete now.

Apeface. How is the G1 jet more aerodynamic than this guy? Not sold on ape mode being better yet either but it could be with articulation. I’ll have to see it in person.

Crosshairs is what it is. Not exciting at all. They molded a new head. How much harder to create thicker clip on tires? Or even a new weapon? :/ possible pass...

Astrotrain and Apeface look amazing. Just wondering, does it look like Astrotrain's vehicle modes are armor like Shockwave, or is it all one piece?

There is armor that comes with Astrotrain, but it seems minimal, and the only thing it seems to contribute to in his alt modes is the rear of his train mode(the coal car portion, IDK what it's called)

just saying that by all indications he doesn't have armor and instead has a massive combining gun (based on info from the press release)   but we wont definitively know till sdcc

 

Did Warden not say that the Leader class gimmick for Siege will be 'armor-up'?

Granted, we still don't know for a *fact* that Astrotrain is definitively in WFC1, I'll give you that, but Warden's word is what I was going with.

 

i dont think he ever actually said that, i think that is people taking something out of context or putting their own spin on it, like when all the chicken littles said hasbro was going to end direct sales because the brand specific websites were being shut down due to being redundant. but if you could provide an interview where he states that every leader in siege will have armor then i will happily be proven wrong. also astrotrain in siege, he ships with a repack of magnus, unless theyre gonna ship figures from 2 separate lines together

 

Well I remember watching the interview and filing that in my mind. Posts suggest that it's from SDCC 2018, but I can't find the interview. So believe what you want about it, I suppose. =/

 

And those five weapons are likely pieces that help flesh out his train (or shuttle) mode beyond what they were able to do with the Transformation available.
