    I'm into it.

I like the styles for both and I'm interesting in seeing more these worlds and stories.

They both look fairly cool, just judging by the illustrations.

Sounds like a mash up between star with gravity falls.

Both look alright, I may check them out when they air, or stream, or whatever.

Right, I just watched a little bit of it, and assumed it was a trailer. I didn't notice it was 22+ minutes. lol

I'll watch it later though. Looks interesting. Disney is still fairly decent with their cartoons.

Near as I can tell Amphibia has Star vs Team while Owl House has remnants of the Gravity Falls team. I know the creator is dating Stan Hursh and he did some voice work for the show even though he's doing shows over at Netflix now.

I haven't really seen Star Vs yet, but I've seen Gravity Falls, well at least a few episodes. But, Owl House reminds me of like Mary and The Witch's Flower, or one those Ghibli'esk films like that. With magic, weird creatures and what not. To a lesser extinct, Amphibia does too. Also, like those Simpsons episodes where they created the Ghibli world or the Del Toro world.

The point is, they sounds like my kind of fantasy cartoons.

Gravity Falls is great and has one of the best series endings in years
Star just finished with 4 seasons and ended pretty well to.

No no, as I do hear they are great, just haven't really gotten around to them yet. There are a lot of shows I haven't watched, usually wait until they are finished.

Watched the first two episodes, pretty good I'd say.

Fills the void left by Star ending.

And season 1 is done..disney burned off the entire 20 episodes in just a couple of weeks.
Over all pretty good, glad there is a season 2 coming because they left a lot to resolve.

Ya, Amphibia is a pretty strong show to me, it has gotten its share of chuckles out of me.

Man, this show got surprisingly real surprisingly fast.

Now we play the waiting game. The dreaded Hiatus, Destroyer of Hopes and Dreams.

Owlhouse was delayed till next year and Ducktales doesn't come back till september. Looks like there will be a lag before I watch Disney XD again.

I kinda gave up on Amphibilands after a few episodes. It is clear to me it is planning to play the game of "we advance the plot every 5 issues so people don't stop watching, but otherwise just do meandering episodes about everyday life with mediocre humor" that Star vs Evil and Steven Universe mastered already. And no thanks, don't have time for that. Back to Kung Fu Panda - Paws of Destiny for me where something interesting actually happens in every episode.
I wouldn't call completely messing up two dimensions by merging them and unleashing fantasy creatures on Earth while also totally destroying magic as a concept as ..."well".
Or turning some nobody into the big bad villain and completely forgetting about both of the villains previous seasons kept building up.
