Jetfire is outstanding I almost dropped my phone. Omega is very cool too.

 

Impactor looks like a perfect base for a Cybertron Defense Scattorshot remold. Now we just need a mold for Red Alert.

 

Did you miss the note that Siege introduced a unified scale to the G1 side of Generations? Magnus supposed to only be a head taller than Optimus, and Shockwave supposed to be shorter. We're operating at roughly 1:36 scale to Sunbow here.

Yes, and Jetfire is twice as tall as Grimlock or Magnus in the Sunbow cartoon too. I even predicted it in the WFC speculation thread.

Yeah the only way I can see that article saying Jetfire is a con making sense is if he comes packaged as a con and has a faction swapping/flipping gimmick of some kind. Which is conceivable given that this is taking place prior to G1 technically.

But barring that, it's definitely an oversight on the writer's part if he's packaged and sold as an Autobot. I don't think pointing that out is an overreaction or in any way disproportionate personally.

The macross mode for jetfire looks abyssmal. Where are the head lasers.

Also 80 bucks is a hard pass when the 2014 leader did what I wanted but better.

Impactor is dissapointing. The headsculpt is terrible.

 

The obvious Decepticon Commander Class toy is Thunderwing. Retool the main Jetfire body, and give him armor/weapons based on the pretender shell.

I'm happy there's going to be a mainline Impactor figure -- but I'm not impressed with what looks to be an upscaled Legends Warpath mold, and hollow to boot. Especially at $29.99 CAD.

Mirage looks great too, very G1 faithful.

Hate to break it to you, but almost every other movie critic rated it no better. We all love that movie, but it is what it is.

 

I think Ross only ever got Fort Max, and that was blink-and-you-missed it. A few folks got Trypticon at that kind of price (mostly Ollies, which of course doesn't cover the whole country, let alone outside the US). Other than that, I don't think the track record for Titan Class getting these kinds of discounts is very good.

I mean, sure, it might happen, but you're taking your chances.

 

CW Megatron came with spare faction symbols to make him an Autobot (if you wished). Not hard to imagine he comes with a few stickers so you can pick and choose.

 

From what I can tell here, I've got this to say about what's up next for Siege.
Omega is beautiful. Exactly what I would want in an Omega Supreme. Really lives up to his name. Countdown is a cool extra too.
Skyfire is awesome. Definitely looking forward to him.
I'm so glad Impactor doesn't look too great, I was starting to worry if I would have to buy the entire line.
Mirage looks awesome, I'm glad I decided to skip the CW one.

Tidal Wave and Scorponok would be awesome for commander class!

XenoTK made an awesome Crosshairs from Siege Ironhide in his digibash thread.

 

I really hope they don't use the same joints/ratchets from Metro/FortMax on Omega Supreme. That would totally ruin the figure.
