8. The unreleased jet/horse triplechanger but with more modern engineering.

Start working on chug scaled figures based on IDW. Deluxe Nautica, Chromedome, Rodimus, Getaway, Ratchet, and so on; voyager megatron, whirl, cyclonus, etc, leader fortress maximus, and a set of DJD that scale with all of these figures (Legends Vos, Pet, and Nickel, Deluxe Kaon, Voyager Tarn, and Leader Helex and Tesarus.) And what the hell, make a leader class Killmaster that is retooled into G1 Lugnut. Also work on a subline compatible with the combiner wars system of play. Deluxe Strafe, and voyager Sludge (with a retool into Paddles), so fans can display a dinobot combiner and have Grimlock separate with the Scavengers. Additionally, a Deluxe Cosmos, Deluxe Slugslinger, Thundercracker, and Acid Storm retooled from each other, deluxe Blitzwing and Astrotrain, and finally voyager Dreadwing (with a retool into Stealth Bomber Megatron), completing IDW Sky Reign and Galvatronus.

When IDW well is finally starting to dry up, shift to making 3P Animated figures. If that chinese company still hasn't completed their Constructicons, start with them first, but forget about trying to do Devastator. Then move onto the rest of Team Athena and Team Charr, and also make Supreme class Lugnut, Voyager Sentinel Prime, and legends scaled Bumblebee and retools into Wasp, Cliffjumper, etc. Then move on to the bit characters: Perceptor, Yoketron, Warpath, etc. Characters that only appeared in the background for a brief second are absolute lowest priority, but if the line is still selling when all the more prominent characters are exhausted, run a poll to decide what background characters people want made first.

I would buy the alt mode versions of the Stunticons, paint them to match the Stunticon color scheme, and tour them around the world.
I might do the same with the Protectobots. Logistically speaking, alt modes of the Stunticons (and Protectobots) are easiest for touring, compared to the other combiners.

Since I am a huge fan of gestalts, I would do all the G1 gestalts, starting with Devastator and Raiden before continuing in order of appearance from the original G1 release.
Updates would be made where needed and as possible. For example, I am not a fan of the car bots being largely unseen since the top end faces the back of Menasor. As some 3rd party companies have done, I would have them visible in the front.
Alt modes would be updated as needed to better match real-world alt modes. Example is Onslaught - never actually seen such a simple carrier truck, much less with cannons. The cannons stay, but the carrier truck would be changed.
Each gestalt would be about 24", more or less, in height.

After completing the G1 gestalts I would add Glacialord, to try and even things out just a bit more for the Autobot combiners.

A non transforming fully articulated legends plus scale set of mp g1,energon action figures. Without without the need to transform they could put on all the bells and whistles

 

Legends scaled: Beast Wars, although someone already said that so my company will be their bitter rival. I’ll make their ships too, and the whole Transmetals-transmetals 2 lineup. I’ll make BW combiners. I’ll go mad.

Chug: IDW Onyx Prime, Rung, Chromedome, Nautica, Ratchet, Froid+Sunder, Pharma etc.

MP: Beast Wars Dinobot II, if Takara won’t.

OOS MP: A high end Transformers Prime Optimus the size of a small child.

So less a wish list more a business plan?


Start small get the company name out there: De-head mastering kits for the voyagers from Titans Return, basically replacing the flip up bits on the sides of their heads and the TM port with a whole flip up head. Might leave the faces blank so the TM face plates can be out on to save on costs.


Maybe a few other small bits like weapons kits, again just getting us known.


First big project. New Legs for TR fort Max, I would reuse the current cannons if I could but everything else from the knee down would be new, big chunky ankle tilts and legs that fold into the city mode the right way.


Follow that up with an actual good hand guns for max, can’t believe we’ve had 2 and they have both been so bad at actually fitting on the alt mode.


Getting on to technically our first full figure now. A new Cerebros figure for TR max… or maybe it’s more an IDW fort max, basically it would have a head mode and some kind of other alt mode, something mobile at the very least.


With that done I keep on the IDW CHUG road and put out an SUV Prowl but it’s not just any prowl, it’s the first part of Prowlastator (which as I am a D&D nerd I would call the project Lawful Evil). The set would have Hook as a leg, it would probably be about the size of TFC’s Herc but better sculpt and build quality and very much better combiner ports so it would stand a little bigger than a CW combiner but very much bulkier. Oh and it gets the treads for forearms as I really like that look and well IDW.

Next mini project would be called Chaotic and be a Scrapper that can replace Hook as a leg and a Hook that can replace Prowl making the combiner now Chaotic Evil.


Then to recoup the expense of that tooling we’d do a retool, Project called Chaotic Good, this is a wreckers combiner, Upper torso Hook retooled as Rack, Leg Hook Retooled as Ruin (option to attach these two to each other at the shoulder), Mix Master as Quick Mix, Long Haul as Landfill, now these last 2 are a little out there but I think it could work, Scavenger retooled as bulkhead with the digger arm replaced with a wrecking ball, and really out there Bonecrusher as a cyberton mode wheeljack (think more prime wheel jack inspired).


Then another mini project, Scrapper as Scoop (come with an extra green chest and head so you can make original Scrapper Scoop if that floats your boat) and Prowl as Ironfist and to fit the pattern that are called Neutral so the combiner become neutral good, I am stretching that as far as it will go lol.

After that same style and scale Liokaiser with a rescue force repaint to follow with some obscure autobot jets inspiring the arms.


Might throw a G2 devi in there somewhere if there is demand.


I think that is about 4 to 5 years’ worth of product, so then I’d sit back and re-evaluate what the markets doing, maybe then step in to MP or legends scale, see who’s big in the comics or what Hasbro hasn’t done or hasn’t done well at least. Maybe a few more small bits, like add ons and masters of some kind mixed in there.

 

I'm going to add another section to this with what I call "prime project x"

I'd make a series dedicated to Optimus and EVERY character he ended up combining with in one way or another. Omega supreme? Ultra Magnus? Jetfire? Overload? Godbomber? The masters type add-ons? Everything. They can all combine into the same Optimus. Some even at the same time?

This was inspired by my emotional defeat from maketoys' Optimus figures being only able to combine with either jetfire or godbomber, depending on which one you got.....

I recruit Shogo Hasui and Alex Milne to collaborate on a super high end, idealized-look, TF line. G1 would be used as a basis, but they can pull from any and all mediums for inspiration and just generally run wild with it. The only rule is no faux parts
