I feel bad for people here who went to Ollie’s but they were sold out of Trypticon. It depends on location. In south Atlanta the Ollie’s still have Trypticon for sale. My problem is that I have too many Trypticons.

I bought six. One for myself, two for each of my 2 boys, 1 for a friend of mine, and 2 for 2 different users on tfw and Reddit who asked for help. But later they both backed out/changes their mind so I returned them.

Even though initially I bought 6 Trypticon, I’m not a scalper and am not trying to make a profit. I got them for family and friends or to try to help out other fellow Transformers collectors.

IMG_2714.JPG Wilkes Barre PA has them. They are on an end cap. At first I thought they didn't have any but then I found them. Still more there.

The closest store to me is Shreveport, Louisiana, which is three hours away.  :(

Anybody want to help a fellow collector out?

I had someone changed his mind about buying Full Tilt and Necro headmaster with weapon from me for $30 total (break down as $25 for items+ $1 for tax and $4 shipping).

It’s my last one if anyone wants it. Let me know. I will mail out all items Monday afternoon during my lunch time and will PM a tracking number.

I read that quickly and initially thought you had bought each of your kids two Trypticons (for four total). Those'd be some darn lucky kids!

Christ, looking at eBay is annoying. People selling a $50 Trypticon for $100 to over $200. Taking advantage of those without an Ollie's. It's shameful.
There is a Full Tilt for $19 shipped, so at least that's something.

There might have been $19 ft but I can't find it. I'd bought it.
I was tempted to buy two Trypticon's keep the Full-Tilt and sell the Trypticon.

I did the opposite. I bought 4 Trypticons and am/will sell off all the Full Tilt and gift the large walking purple dinosaur to my young kids/cousins. I already have dozens of Titan Masters and legend figures so I will just give them some of that to play with Trypticon.

It’s not a lot to sell a Trypticon for $100 online on EBay. I’m not selling any Trypticon and actually returned 2 that I had bought for users here on tfw2005 who changed their mind. The deal I had on tfw2005 that they both First contacted me was $100 shipped for Trypticon, which I agreed.

Trypticon is $50 so for me that’s $54 after GA tax. Trypticon is a big box and heavy so shipping will probably be $30-$40 with tracking. Plus add in ebay fees and PayPal fees for the seller if sold on eBay. And for me I factor in that Ollie’s is about 10 minutes from my work place so with gas cost and mileage and the fact that I can only go to Ollie’s during my lunch break meaning I have to sacrifice my free time......

That’s why instead of trying to list the 2 extra Trypticon for $100 each on eBay, I just returned them back to Ollie’s to get my cash back. Selling a Trypticon for $100 means I won’t be making any money and I don’t want to deal with the hassle.

Why do people always assume sellers are listing Trypticon with free shipping? Most $100 plus listings add at least $25 additional in there to ship. I would never sell something so big and eat shipping.

    That's poor business.

For me, I always add shipping with item cost to get grand total. I’ve bought some small Marvel figures on eBay for .99 and $20 shipping. I wouldn’t say that small Marvel toy cost me 99 cents since I know shipping cost for that figure is probably a dollar or two at the most.

Looking at ebay earlier I see some sellers listing Trypticon for $89 with $15 shipping so $104 total. So even with Ollie’s having Trypticon at $50, there’s not much profit there with state taxes, gas to get to Ollie’s, shopping costs, eBay seller fees, PayPal fees, etc.

With my listing, I did put free shipping. Reason being I figure it'll stand out in the sea of people that are charging shipping and hoping it'll draw more eyeballs and more bids.

It is very easy. I can put him out of sight right next to Metroplex. No regrets picking him up now. :)

That's because those sellers are doing it all wrong. You shouldn't buy these up and then immediately list them among the endless sea of Trypticon listings now, you should wait and play the long game. In time when all of the listings remaining are random punks on Amazon Marketplace and foreign sellers offering these for $200+, that's when you start listing yours at the real MSRP like a champ, and even take offers for $120 + shipping cause you're such a nice guy and great seller.
