As of now, there's no release date for MB Mazinger Z. Pre-order only goes up when there's a confirmed launch date/month, that's Bandai's SOP.
Good, got in with HLJ at least. Now in Order Stop. I was hovering over at Hobby Search, but holy crap they sold out fast. Refreshed the page right at the clock change, clicked through the order as fast as possible, and I still got rejected.
Would you mind me asking how you found the item page so quickly? I refreshed HLJ right when the clock ticked over to 18:00 jst and Qanta didn't show up in my searches until after it reached order stop status. I would've missed the preorder if I didn't check the thread right when you posted.
Got one from HLJ!! So happy! Tried to get one at nippon, added to the cart..selected shipping..then bamm..the website crashed!! Item gone from cart..they had the best price at 21,850 yen, HLJ at second for 23,750 yen..
Crud. And yet again. I woke up at 3am and 4am EST to check on preorders (finding nothing). Seems like they went up at 5am EST. Woke up again at 7am and everything was gone at all my usual JP sources. This has pretty much been a recurring thing since the MB Destiny.
AmiAmi and NY both crashed on me. lol. Demand is literally thru the roof. I might have to go through secondary sources but they are already asking for mark-up pricings.
Which makes me seriously wonder with this line: demand overall on this line is clearly incredible, why isn't there more stock prepared to go around?
I keep telling people: Metal Build is my favorite toyline to own, but probably my most hated toyline to actually collect...
Bleh, looks like it's sold out everywhere. Ah well. With Trypticon and the new Diaclone Big Powered coming, my wallet needs a bit of a break.
I've yet to take part in them but afraid of something similar happening to me. I just don't have the interest in most the designs to be putting that much money and space into them.
I'm sure there's more stock but it went to USA distribution. many USA stores were opening pre order for the metal build Qan(T) today.
Aaaand all gone as of at least an hour ago. I saw it when it still had some stock, but I passed on it in hopes that my usual backup plan will work out. Hope I won't regret that decision...
