Awesome stuff kuma, that thing is just sooo photogenic, and the gloss looks ace in your photos  

 

Kuma Style could take a picture of a piece of dog shit and make It look fantastic. Did you see his Alpha Pack shots? Thing looks otherworldly.

What was the original price on Baikanfu?

 

18,900 Yen at release. So probably in the $169-189 range USD. Figure a re-release will be at or over $200.

 

Thanks for advising here. I started collecting these in like 2012 so U have no idea of prices on anything older.

 

I'm actually in the same boat. Started buying n 2012 and missed a lot of the earlier figures. But I happened to be looking at someof the old MSRP's lately to compare to the re-release prices of Voltes V, Daltanius and Gunbuster. So I knew where to find the numbers. I am actually surprised at how cheap Baikanfu was originally, given its size and complexity. At release it was substantially cheaper than and of the Robot Romance bots, God Mars and similarly sized figures. It's price actually fell right between the early smaller sized SOC's such as the Mazinger family offerings, and the larger combiners such as Voltes and Zambot etc.

I am sure that any re-release will come in at around the same price as the other current re-releases, if not a hair more. Probably around the same as Daltanius. (Which will likely land right at ~$200-$220 USD once you add in shipping.)

 

I'm assuming none of us will be interested in this?
