Maybe I am biased, but as an outsider looking in this company scares me. Maybe it's just from reading the boards, but there does seem to be a lot wrong which is fixed later.

Maybe it is just negative press, but this is still the external image this company has.

Yeah, if they're getting it that soon, it would be nice to see some photos with finished/final paint apps.

It'll be very interesting to see what they do with Cliff's bot mode since it's more or less the same as Bumblebee's. Hopefully it looks reasonably similar.

Thank God Arkose is light grey... That's a big relief...now for the reviews!

 

what's with all the unpainted gray plastic? i thought this was supposed to be a premium mp. add some chrome or silver paint. sheesh. lemme guess. a v2 is coming. lol. alt mode looks meh. so many tiny pieces connecting together. especially the cage. i bet transformation is a pain. robot mode looks pretty good. i would probably never transform this guy. price is steep for what you are getting.

 

Just offwhite enough to be acceptable in the legs. And bring on that cliffjumper.

 

Really? Do you seriously want that much silver all over the bot mode? Legs are one thing, but the entire bot? He has the toy colors precisely, I'm perfectly happy with that. Heck, even if they had gone with the grey plastic legs on Boost I'd have been happier (still like silver there for toy accuracy though).

 

there's hardly any paint on him. he's just so drab in both modes. i will definitely wait for reviews and if a v2 is coming. i want the toy to look the like renders. comparing the toy to the renders is like night and day.

 

Arkose looks perfect, colors are great! Pfew!  

 

Ehh...I think it looks ok really. Looks like what I remember from the cartoon (Which is what I look for).

 

About the only thing I might have done differently is paint the little chest design thinggy silver. That would have been a nice bot mode accent. Maybe the roll cage in alt mode too...that might look nice in silver. It looks like all the blue on him is painted. Honestly I think he looks fantastic!

 

Another off my check list. Can't wait to have Beachcomber.

That's a pleasant surprise. Colors are toon accurate, not toy.

Toy had black rails I think and toon had grey. Center of body was grey or silver in the toy but off white in the toon.


Wonder if we will see the green chrome g2, had that one MOSC and open. Also maybe what I believe is the red G2 beachcomber that never saw the light of day.

 

This looks good. Hopefully the reviews can confirm this
