With your ideal for a "complete" display, what figures are you still in need of to finish it off? They can be existing figures or something that has not yet been created.

Blitzwing, Astrotrain and Megatron: none of the 3rd party versions appeal to me so I'm hoping Takara (or someone elae) releases something I'll like.
Sunstreaker, Jazz, Trail breaker and Cliffjumper: Same reasons as before.

Generations
Overlord, Tarn, Pharma, Rodimus: at least MMC has me covered on the first 2.
Darkwing, Dreadwind and Needlenose: I'll be buying Maketoys for the first two, but I'd like an original mold for Needlenose.

It's a very long list comprising pretty much everything from 1987-1990

 

every figure i do not own.

 

I really want ths 2 convoy. He is holding me back on getting the dx9 and iron factory awesome small scale stuff.

As a happy classics collector who's filled the collection with official, Botcon/club, custom and 3rd party figures, for me my collection is almost complete especially with Titans Returns and Trypticon coming. I just need:

1) Legends Kickback to finish off the Insecticons (rumored to be coming)
2) Deluxe Insecticon Venom to go with the 3rd party FP versions
3) Autobot Monsterbots (double cross rumored)
4) Autobot/Decepticon Targetmasters (some coming from TR like Triggerhappy)
5) Raiden Combiner
6) Roadcaesar Combiner
7) Blue Bacchus to go with Black Shadow
8) Rotorstorm for my Wreckers
9) G2 Defensor

Other than these, more Pretenders (Stranglehold please!), Micromaster and Actionmaster homages whenever they can.

 

For me, I just need the generations seekers and im finished! Well. I lied. I also need Astrotrain xD

Anyway, my list is way to big to post here. But it all involves Classics.

 

Aside from wanting all the things, the biggest hole in my collection is MP-10. He's my grail figure. I just can't afford him yet. If only my kids weren't so selfish and wanting to have food and clothes all the time.

 

fembots. in general, 90% of the females in my collection are or will be customs. at least there's a bigger focus on them lately.

-Deluxe Class Constructicons (hoping KBB or Wei Jiang KOs and downsizes UW Devastator)

-Legends Class Bumblebee and Cliffjumper that don't share the same head
-Legends Class Kickback

Those are the most glaring for me that I need at the moment; 8 for each faction.

Hm, well right now the major holes in my collection I see are...

A leader-sized Shockwave to go along with CW Megatron, the CW Seekers, and TR Soundwave - either MP Shockwave or Quakeblast will do, but one's too expensive and the other's only really available through Chinese eBay sellers that I don't fully trust, plus I'm too impatient to wait 2 weeks to a month for it to arrive.

UW Grand Galvatron.

Star Saber, either MP-24 or a Leader class figure in Titans Return will do.

TR Overlord and Sixshot.

Generations Voyager class Dinobots. PLEASE, HASBRO, I'M BEGGING YOU.

MMC Spartan for the Wreckers shelf. A MTMTE-accurate Whirl would be nice too, but isn't required.

More Decepticons in general. Titans Return looks to be delivering in this regard.

 

I still need to get Chromia and a few Legends class figures (Swerve, Tailgate, etc.). There's little left on my 'wish list' ever since I got hold of Legends Arcee. If Transformers gets cancelled tomorrow, I'll be happy with the figures I've got.

Where I stand, I am one figure away from having no official gaps. But seeing what TakaraTomy is going to release for their "Legends" line, which is my favorite to date... I have to say that the figures I hope to see from them when it comes to this line are...

...And hopefully the return of the "Generation 1" style Dinobots. Either as Masterpiece versions or "Headmasters" in "Transformers Legends". Mostly because those are long overdue, I never had any as a kid, and I really like their "G1/ALLSPARK" versions.
