Anyone know when the new figures come out? I would love to get a Warrior Ratchet.

Well then looks like im gonna have to hit Amazon for the figures from Prime so I can help my collection grow until then.

 

Same here: Saberhorn, Glowstrike, Filch, Stockade, and a voyager Underbite and maybe a better Steeljaw and Strongarm.

 

That didn't happen, because Season 2 was cut short. My opinion is that the episodes that were supposed to be in Season 2 will be used for Season 3 instead. I just hope Prime characters show up through out Season 3 and that the stories get a bit more interesting. I understand that they want to keep it 'kid friendly'. I believe it hurts it, and again just my opinion.

 

For those wondering about Starscream I found this on the Transformers Prime Wiki

Starscream was briefly mentioned by Sideswipe in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, meaning he has not been forgotten.
It also possibly implies he could still be alive following his confrontation by Predaking, though this has yet to be confirmed

Trying to remember what episode that was, any ideas?

 

It was W.W.O.D? Bee was trying to be more like Optimus and Sideswipe said "That's the worst Starscream impression ever."

Bee also mentioned him when his team was up against Bisk in More Than Meets The Eye.

I remember Bee's mention because it was the first reference of TP. I just didn't remember Sideswipes.

 

I want Starscream to appear again, too. But I don't think that necessarily means he's going to. The comic seemed to imply that he was truly dead.

 

Well, Starscream was mentioned in Rescue Bots. I would assume that means he somehow survived, or it's just a name drop.

 

Isn't Rescue Bots a different universe, or time line. continuity wise and all. I don't really watch it, so I don't know if it ties into another series like RID does.

p.s Optimus has died many times in Transformers -- he's still here. So it wouldn't surprise me if Scream is alive.

 

According to Hasbro, Rescue Bots is in continuity with Prime/RID.

 

There's absolutely no way. There are so many differences between the two that I just can't see them existing in the same universe.

 

I could forgive Prime for its many fuckups in storytelling and character development. I could possibly even forgive the show for killing Decepticons one by one, while the Autobots never lost anybody save Cliffjumper.

But if there is one thing I cannot forgive the show for, its the treatment of Starscream. He was amazing throughout the first half of Season 1, less so in the second half, but not the absolute worst. Seasons 2 and 3, however, treated him like trash and I lost my patience for this show.

So fuck this show and fuck the writers for doing that to my favorite character in the entire franchise, especially when he started out so strong in the beginning.

This show is the absolute definition of wasted potential.

 

I would love for the next show to be a real g2 tfs prime. It could centre around different bots and have them reconnecting all the colonies. Then maybe allot more ideas from other tf like cybertron series etc could be pulled in. Bekst of all worlds?

 

Heck no, if they revisit a cartoon i hope they do Animated written by Larry and Bob and let Sentinel become a major dictator but let him be able to throw a punch and have Autobots who feel the same way he does about the way forward for Cybertron as allies and let them not be black/white evil. The Decepticons would take advantage of the situation to reorganise and would not join forces with any Autobots and Starscream would be hopelessly irrevocably - ze allspark fragment it does nothing! - dead.

 

Chop Shop, Kickback, Razorpaw and Polarclaw would also be awesome.

 

How so? Outside of Optimus apparently forgetting about his dinosaur mode in the later seasons of Prime, there's nothing about RB that even remotely contradicts the other two shows.
