I kinda hope there isn't an SG Primal. There was no Ark on Prehistoric Earth, which means no Golden Disk message and thus no incentive for someone to time travel back there. (There is that Origin Matrix, but it seemed implied that it was safe until the universal crossover threw things out of whack)
interesting that they'd go "beast machine" with botcon being based on "machine wars" no big deal, just interested to see how it all ties in if at all
They must have the freedom because they have done it at least three times. The first years cybertron story, pre beast wars story, and post animated story were all way more interesting then any of the shattered, transtech, or classic garbage they've produced. Granted that's just my ranking of these stories but reading a comic I'm paying a premium for that at best will explain 4 random renames from 15 years ago is just not appealing.

You know I'd actually be all for that. Anyway this seems somewhat interesting. I wonder if it will be just as confusing as all of the other Beast Wars fiction has been for me.
IMHO the Classicsverse storyline is a FunPub thing and not within Hasbro's already questionable continuities.
I think the Universe Optimus Primal and BM T-Wrecks can easily work for the SG versions of Primal and Megatron. Don't forget all those Fox Kids repaints. I kinda think SG Beast Wars can be a interesting idea. Also Grimlock from Universe Dinobot please.
You've read previous Club fiction, perhaps? *rimshot* This is probably heading in very predictable, and ultimately uninteresting, directions. I guess the point of question is whether Ultra Mammoth is JUST going to be dealing with G1 MegaGator and his scaly Nemesis (or whatever ship it was) crew, or whether both factions are going to be dealing with Universe 1.0 and Fox Kids Repaints representing Evil-Primal and Indestructable-Waspinator and Double-Agent-Inferno and Wise-Cracking-Friendly-Neighborhood-Tarantulas (brilliant idea there!) and Dishonor-bound-Purple-Silverbolt and Cancelled-Halloween-Flavored-Shrinking-Violet-Black Arachnia, and so on.... SG Beast Wars eh? If they really wanted to crazy with it and do something new, have SG Primal and Megatron switch alt modes. T-Rex Primal and Gorilla Megatron!
If they decide to give SG Optimus or Magnus a trailer (like Laser Magnus and Laser Prime has) then they will by accident also be homaging a third party item. As to Grimlock's GPS the worst parts are the holes in his legs and the hex pieces inside his chest (that you can't even see) I fixed those with some replacements from a junker Dinobot and as for the legs - you don't have to plug them in the holes to achieve the beast mode just push them against his belly without plugging them in.
