I'd like to see VW step up for Bumblebee, but it'll never happen. They'll never allow it. Ford would be cool. Some Alternators-esque version of the Mustang Grimlock would be cool. Bluestreak as a Nissan and Hound as a Jeep. Maybe they could even work Prowl into it somehow.
Since GM said they were done with the Topkick, I'd love to see Ironhide become an equally big pickup truck. Ratchet.....well, I dunno. Maybe he can become an ambulance. Also, I would love to see Optimus with the trailer; maybe it can become his armor. As for Starscream, like someone said, the military might be cancelling the F-22. Hmm.....can't he still be an F-22 though? Jetfire was an SR-71 Blackbird in ROTF and those got cancelled years ago.
The Chinese government cancelled the deal. The Chinese company will no longer take Hummer off GM's hands. Basically, the government said the acquisition didn't agree with the Chinese government's view as being environmentally conscious. Though I think they were just telling the Chinese company that made the deal what a horrible idea it is to buy a gas guzzler in a time of higher oil prices. I think Jolt should be forgotten. And Wheeljack should become a Tesla Roadster. It fits his ALT mode of a fancy race car. And also fits his personality of a wacky inventor.
Just because Ironhide's car is no longer in production doesn't mean he won't keep his vehicle mode. lol. I'm sure Bay's kept the same vehicles for the main cast the same for the 3rd film. That's the point of contracts =3
Beside there are already 2 fully working Chinese clone of HMMWV by 2 seperate company (military corp I think) They could just use that instead lol
Incorrect. That was a rumor started by a Chinese radio station, no officials ever spoke a word, the BBC ran with the story and it became "fact". Here's the real deal: Despite speculation that the Chinese Government is blocking the sale of HUMMER to Sichuan Tengzhong, a company spokesperson says that the deal is still progressing. “We do not yet have a definitive agreement, but are developing our proposals with GM and Hummer and we will continue to engage with the appropriate authorities in an appropriate manner,” a company spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal. While rumors have been swirling, things really took off this morning when China National Radio reported a sale would not go through and the story was run by the BBC. Sichuan Tengzhong pointed out that the original radio story did not quote anyone of authority at China’s National Development and Reform Commission. “Some people may have views and speculation, but the Chinese government has a process that we respect,” said the spokesperson. Formal discussions with the Chinese government regarding the purchase of HUMMER are expected to begin next week.
