This is a new MP20 inner face in a smokey clear blue color with UV reactant glow plastic. Under any UV (black) light the plastic will glow a bright blue as in the pictures.

$10 for the painted piece ready to drop into your head.
$13 for the GlowInTheDark painted piece.

edit: i think you have the pictures mixed up on your site, between the painted / non painted shots

 

That makes a difference if the whole "ear" is clear blue or if it's blue over a solid back.

 

It appears then that $10 is the price to beat for a painted Wheeljack face with blue ears.

 

Oh, I hate decisions like this. Don't know which one to pick. Dr. Wu's looks great, but Nonnef's cures cancer and does the dishes. What to do, what to do!

Nonnef, any chance you'll expand the quota for the painted version beyond the original 25pcs???

 

Ordered Nonnef's. From the looks of it the Dr Wu one will come with the same set that has the exploding bazooka and all those other accessories, judging from the code-name of DW-P22E (E for Engineer), so I'll still be getting both in the end. Suits me just fine, at least I know this one will be released soon! Now to go buy some bulbs

 

Yar. I'm surprised that its the more popular of the two options, figured people would want the $5 one.
But I'm switching the run totals being the painted seems to be the preferred option.

preordered, delivery for me though I'm in Chicago next week for work but not the week after so can't make TFCON, so pissed! I tried to push the work back a week but they need to be done next week so was a no go. Almost as if my plastic crack addiction was not important enough to move around a bunch of peoples calendars for, lol, yeah, ok, I understand the decision!

Looks like I finally got my own thread back.  

I'll have a big pile of these for sale at TFCon. Along with a few limited glow in the dark ones that I had already offered up to my Twitter followers last week.
So if you're going to the con best to just pick them up there. You'll get them sooner (online orders don't ship till Nov) and save on shipping.

Nonnef, could you add some photos of the painted VS unpainted with the mask on? I'm thinking people may be making the same mistake I feel I made and buying the painted because it looks better when you look at the part itself rather than how it will look when attached. Also for some reason I believed that the paint was the UV reactive part, that was just poor reading on my part!!

Not a complaint and not looking to cancel my pre-order, just think it may help others in the future and I'm guessing the unpainted are easier to produce so what looks like a small profit margin may be slightly higher on the unpainted?

Whatever, I'll just be happy to have a Wheeljack that looks a little different and, to me, a little cooler  

oh, and looking forward to seeing those new MP hands too, hate the current trend in MP hands, not as premium as I would like.

The unpainted is only available so customizers can use their own paints and colors. It's not meant to be used without paint.Wheeljack would look silly with a glowing blue face.
MP hands were planned for TFCon also, but I had a bunch of mold errors and I don't have time to make another for the show. Same problem afflicting Trivia. Should start seeing more on the hands next month.

these look great. i'm really surprised nobody has come out with a whole new head with flashy LED's though. that being said i want these even though dr. wu's look good too...these look just a touch better.
