Yeah, figured i got one with alot of glue used on that part. You can even see glue stains on the fender itself. Its stuck in there pretty tight.
This whole thread is extremely impressive, and I have a request. If you ever mod/paint a RiD Optimus figure, please give the kind of detail with breaking it down and painting as you did here, I've tried to break down that figure for painting myself, and it seems impossible. Course, I've never tried this stuff before, so it could just be me lol.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! :-D I was wondering, did you manage to get it apart yet? Thank you, and I actually plan to do some level of work to all my Prime figures at some point, and if people want, I can show my work on them. The next one I plan to do is a redo of my Megatron W.I.P. in some more detail, and I will be amending some of the earlier work on Arcee here to show some of the steps in more depth. As for the current W.I.P., I have done a little more and should have another good udate this weekend. This week has been hectic as an old buddy from High School moved in, and I have been working on a few commissions that have come my way. Thanks for looking all, and I hope to have another update in the next couple of days. Until then, have fun and Happy Modding!
holy crap dude... just holy crap i can't wait to see the finished product. this arcee is going to be amazing.
this thread has been indeed amazing. thanks to the op for the "PUSH" i needed to make my girl Arcee even more awesome. i split the wheel and fender and after pluging the the 4 wheel parts together i didn't know what to do with the fender so after staring for a bit is saw i could peg one side on one leg and on the other i just shaved a bit from the fender part with the long peg to make like a D shape and it fit in the rims of the other leg. it holds good on mine and doesn't affect transformation or alt/bot mode. she looks great now. <3 my arcee more than ever. the wheels split easy for me when i used a pair of those preassure pliers that can be adjusted. after i got it to hold snuggly on one have of the tire, i just used my exacto knife and just poked around the wheel and it started splitting. the preasure combined witht he knife worked great. again thanks. looking forward to more ideas from you guys on here.
u re so in luv with her, dun u.....just feel gorgeous to see ur paint job. No doubt that would be a masterpiece afterward.
