Just got Bridgewatcher and he's awesome :)
Looks like the PE upgrade hands can just hold him with the help of some blu-tack.
Although the weight is a bit much for CW Bruticus's elbows :(

Fantastic little Shockwave, I really hope War Giant turns out this well.

My G1 crew got a little bigger today:
    2017080145584024-picsay_20170801155831625.jpg
    It's not a bad figure for $25.

I feel that the paint job could be better, with crisper edges on the silver and an added yellow eye. I also wish it were engineered better, because the front shin covers don't really lock in place, the figure wants to bend at the unsecured transformation joint in the calf rather than at the knee, and the hand attachments don't fit the snuggest (my laser hand falls out if you tap on the arm).

All in all he's a pretty rad little guy, and probably the best Shockwave available at this size.

That pic needs Soundwizard! Seriously, what's taking DX9 so long with that guy? Maybe IF has pushed them to up their game a bit and add additional hands or something like that. I guy can hope, right?

I got Bridgewatcher recently too and "rad little guy" pretty much sums it up! I had initially wished they had gone with a darker, toy-accurate purple, but in hand the chosen color has really won me over. A really nice shade! Much better than the one on the MP version IMO.

The full review for Iron Factory's IF EX-21 Bridge Watcher is up: Toy Review: Iron Factory IF EX-21 Bridge Watcher - Kuma Style

Overall, this is about Iron Factory's most overall solid release to-date and really makes me wish Shockwave could have gotten this kind of love in Classics scale. This thing is the epitome of what a "desk toy" should be be.

Here are some pics from the gallery:

Completely agree, this is by far my favorite of all my DX9 and IF figures. I'll have IF Skywarp by the end of the week, so my Ghost Starscream will be complete but I have to say that Bridge Watcher really stole it's thunder and I'm not as pumped for it as I was.

    He is the perfect desk-bot:

I'm pretty new to Transfomers collecting....
In your pic, other than Bridgewatcher obviously, who makes the other G1 figures?
I have always been a big Joe collector and love the 3.75" scale which these seem to be more in line with......

    Thanks for your help.

The Devastator, Seekers, and Coneheads are DX9. The Reflector is (are?) Perfect Effect. Megatron is Generation Toy.

And all are highly recommended! I also have Perfect Effect's Frenzy and Rumble, who are the same height as Reflector is, but they're with my Prime Cons.

I wish Perfect Effect would reissue Rumble, Frenzy, Eject and Rewind. I kept waiting for Iron Factory to release their own versions to go with their Blaster and Soundwave sets but it never happened

I picked the pair up off of a member on here for $50. They also have Eject & Rewind for sale.

This guy came in the mail and it's one of the best legends figures I own. Usually I can nit pick a few things about a figure (especially IF because I expect more for the cost) but I have no complaints about this guy. Even the hinge collapse part of the knee transformation isn't bad once you get the hang of it and get the lower hinge to bend the right way first. Definitely a phenomenal pick-up for under $25.

I would get a lot more IF figs if they followed this format (less accessories, less cost). I prefer to expand my roster, not my accessory box in the back of the closet.

Just got him into alt mode, it's actually a nice little transformation.

    This guy is super cute.

Why is this so cheap? I've been thinking most of the prices were a scam. Even Baba has it for $24.

Special 3 (I think?) year anniversary pricing to attract new customers and thank existing ones.

    It's legit.
