To me the way Bee talks is what separates himself from the other characters. But I think Bee getting his voice back would be a nice way to progress the character.

This would be a good way just like in a G1 episode where Megatron does something to the recharging chamber to make the Autobots evil then when Bumblebee confronts Optimus Prime he tried to make Prime snap out of it but I rather they do something like make prime choke slam him or something and then boom he gets his voice back.

 

Is it? Clearly the majority of viewers disagree if it's so popular. Hell, in everything the movies are criticized for, his lack of voice is the only thing I never hear non-fans complain about.

Also, he can say plenty, "technically." He still speaks clear English through radio clips and can convey information easily.

Yes it is. The majority maybe doesn't agree but it's what I believe. And it still isn't his voice. Even if he can say "plenty", it's the way he says it which is the fault here. In the movies he has never been adding anything to the conversations between the Autobots, and that's simply because of the state his voice is in.

EDIT: Fixed the previous sentence. And to add something: Think about the opportunities if he had a voice. In TLK he could have been talking with Hot Rod about old memories or something as they're brothers in arms. But I doubt we'll get anything even close to as good as that just because of his god damn voice problem.

 

I don't believe his voice is completely gone as there is still some "strength" behind it. And if he ever does speak he should have a K-2so escue to his voice. I tried to modify a sound clip of Will Friedle from RID but TFW2005 doesn't let me upload the file, how else could I show it to you guys?

 

It can't be both. You can't claim an absolute fact then backpedal and say it's what you "believe." Because what you believe doesn't really matter, it's what majority audiences respond to.

 

But he talks all the time! Lol. Just because it's not the same voice all the time doesn't mean he can't talk. I personally feelnif he had the same voice through every movie, he wouldn't be unique and would be boring by now.
