Preordered my first figmas today - Twilight Princess Link (regular version) and Zelda. I'm happy to have a Zelda figure in this line. I was really hoping to see one of her from Skyward Sword (along with other characters - Impa and Ghirahim would have been great!) and was disappointed that never happened, so I didn't order the Skyward Sword version of Link. And the answer is: yes! Although whether or not you can use them with the dress in the way is anyone's guess. figma Link & Zelda: Twilight Princess ver. (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) – Kahotan's Blog | GOOD SMILE COMPANY "By the way, although you can’t see them in these photos, Zelda’s pants and boots have also been faithfully sculpted and painted underneath the dress!" Maybe the dress is detachable, so she can be a little more combat-ready? Or at least able to sit down.
If you're going for a Smash Bros display, sure. I'm going strictly for a Zelda display and a Metroid one.
Just preordered DX TP Link, TP Zelda and Slan and Conrad. Looks like May is full already barring any delays. Here's hoping they rerelease Berzerk Armor Guts and regular Guts and hopefully they'll make Skull Knight also.
You miss the significance of the " " smiley, clearly. With the dress being built out of large plastic panels the way it is, it's no doubt attached to the figure with Figma joints, in the same way that Saber's dress is. So it should be technically removable. Whether the figure looks attractive with the dress removed is another matter entirely, since it probably leaves massive obtrusive pegholes exposed.
Holy sh!t this thing is gargantuan!! At least I can now say Panzer Vor... but Goddamn that thing looked smaller in pictures I just knew there's something wrong when the usual mail service did not call and I had to visit the post office!!
Unfortunately they already made all three major versions of Guys (Hawk, Black Swordsman & Berserk Armor) and the only one easy to get still is the Band of the Hawk one. The Berserk Armor one was always hard to get because he was a limited manga issue pack in. Hopefully we can get a reissue or an all new version as the engineering on the Black Swordsman version was pretty old school Figma.
Twilight Princess, final boss, phase 1. Problem solved. Or Figma Snake. Now, completing the Tri-Force? Yeah, Ganon is necessary.
Yeah, a 2.0 would be nice. Speaking of 2.0, they're rereleasing Saber 2.0. Hopefully they'll rerelease Archer also.
Cool. Didn't know Saber 2.0! That's great! I got Archer, but she sold out before I could get her and than her prices got stupid. Thus is excellent news!
Hello! First time poster here but most certainly not my last. I have a question for the folks who are a lot more experienced in buying Figma's than I; Has anyone bought Figma's from Amazon sellers? Were they reliable? I bought a few Nanoha Figma's yesterday from two stores there, since they were fairly inexpensive. But it's that price that has me a little suspicious. Though I did consider if maybe the Nanoha line had just gone down in price over time. To give a little more info; none went higher than $40.00, both shops are situated in Japan, and their score is very good with a good number of products sold. But has anyone had experience with buying Figma's from Amazon sellers? How was it? Were they legitimate?
It depends on the seller. Individual results WILL vary. Try to keep an eye towards their ratings. It also depends on the specific demand for a given item; either Nanoha isn't in great demand in general, or else there was a momentary dip in pricing and you got in at the right time. All I can tell you from MY experience in ordering a Guyver 1 figma was that the price wasn't abominable and the figure that was delivered to me was sound. I had and have no complaints. Actually, one other thing I can mention is that the figures won't necessarily match up in scale or proportion to other Figmas in your collection, or similar products like S.H. Figuarts. For example, the Guyver I have doesn't in any way match the proportions of various Figuarts I have, and doesn't look like it would match other Figmas I've looked at(too lean in comparison). Regarding pricing, I can't say I've heard much about a Figma knock-off market, though I can hardly claim to be especially knowledgeable. The only figures I've seen with a dedicated KO effort is the Figuarts Dragonball Z figures. I don't think you'll need to worry about your Nanohas.
The Nanoha Figmas actually do seem to have dropped in price a bit. Especially if you buy from Japanese sellers. Just as an example about two years ago I was able to get the Striker S versions of Fate and Nanoha for retail when prior to that I'd only seen them listed on eBay and Amazon for around $100 plus. Both were solid so I know that they weren't knock offs. I'm personally not aware of any Nanoha KO's anyway and if they are you can usually tell once you get them in hand. The KO Figmas I've seen (Sinon, Saber, Black Rock Shooter) typically have sloppy paint, loose joints or both. Plus there's a difference in plastic quality... though if you have no other Figmas you probably wouldn't notice.
The score and location means you are probably safe. For some reason Nanoha Figmas have gone down in price, you can find most of them in Mandarake for 15-20 bucks each. Signum seems to be the the main exception.
Saber 2.0 rerelease!!! 3800 yen, cheaper than the first release? Don't remember it being that low. figma - Fate/stay night: Saber 2.0[MAX Factory]
Glad Saber's getting a reissue. It was tough trying to find one for a good price online. Hopefully we can see a reissue of Ryuko Matoi from Kill La Kill as well.
Nope she's the same price, AmiAmi just upped their discount a tiny bit. Checked my records and I paid 3920 yen (so probably 18% to 20%?). Really just a great price for a great figure.
Probably remember the price from later on when they increase it then. Because they usually do that, slowly reduce the discount so the price increases as it gets closer to release. Hopefully they reissue Archer and Guts!!!
If they reissued Guts I'd want them to do a better cape, because that almost paper thing they did was pretty pathetic.
