Kelsey Grammer Explains A Deleted Scene From Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Posted on 08-16-2014 at 02:05 PM by SilverOptimus under Transformers Movie (Just Movie) (All Transformers Movie News)
Harold-Attinger-Kelsey-Grammer-Transformers-4-Age-Of-Extinction-Michael-Bay 2014 is a great year for Kelsey Grammer. And he sat down with Yahoo to talk about it. This is what he had to say about Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Grammer had to leave the Transformers set to film his Expendables role but said, “Michael Bay was cool about it.” Like Stallone, Bay was also cool about line changes, telling him at one point, “You’re Kelsey Grammer. You can do whatever you want.”

Grammer’s most physical action scene involved throwing a Chinese man out of a car. It was eventually cut, though Grammer explained that Bay isn’t entirely to blame. “It was very violent, and it looked very violent.… Apparently the Chinese government had some input on these things, and they just didn’t want to see a Chinese national get thrown out of the car [laughs] — and then subsequently run over.”

Grammer got a glimpse of the Bay method during the shooting of one action scene as Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor were given a shock to the system by the infamously precocious director. “They start running, and Michael did not let them know how big the explosions were going to be. He said to me, ‘Watch this! Look! They’re really terrified. Look how fast they’re running!’”

Posted on 08-15-2014 at 01:55 PM by SilverOptimus under Transformers Movie Toys & Products (All Transformers Movie News)
my-little-pony-superfanart-by-hasbro-and-shapeways You may remember that back in last July, we reported a new venture by Hasbro; where Shapeways (a company working with 3D printed material) would 3D print Fan Art based on Hasbro properties. Though it was initiated with My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, our members speculated that in the future we will see Transformers as well.

Sure enough, thanks to an Email received by 2005 Boards Member chroma23, Hasbro confirms that the new project will expand into Transformers.

Future projects include:
  • Dragonvale
  • Dungeons & Dragons
  • Monopoly
  • My Little Pony [already implemented]
  • Scrabble (to be sold in US and Canada only)
  • Transformers

Michael Bay To Handover The Transformers Movies To A New Director?

Posted on 08-09-2014 at 09:56 AM by SilverOptimus under Transformers Movie (Just Movie) (All Transformers Movie News)
Transformers-5-Michael-Bay We know, we know… this is a conversation that is happening almost all the time. But is Michael Bay really handing over the Transformers Movies to a new Director this time? During an interview with USA Today, the director; whose latest Transformers movie made $1 Billion at the Box-Office, hinted that he is moving ahead with new projects.

This is what USA Today has to say…

Bay is delving further into TV with both Last Ship and Starz's Black Sails, which kicked off in January and has filmed its second season. The hands-on producer keeps track of multiple projects from his high-tech screening room in.

"Literally, it looks like NASA mission control,'' he says. "I am always loaded with what's going on. I like to keep my eyes on everything."

The Bay streak continues with the horror film Ouija (out Oct. 24)and sci-fi thriller Project Almanac (Jan. 30, 2015), both of which he produced, and he's working on another undisclosed TV project. Bay, 49, believes he will pass the baton for future Transformer movies to a new director while he turns his focus elsewhere.

"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," says Bay, who is eyeing a passion project, a documentary on elephant poaching. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."

Recently, Paramount extended their deal with Michael Bay for another 3 years. But we do not know what role he will play in future Transformers movies.
