Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Emiliano Santalucia Concept Art

Posted on 12-01-2014 at 12:02 PM by Mechafire under Transformers Movie (Just Movie) (All Transformers Movie News)
final-battlep3A Transformers artist Emiliano Santalucia has just posted some Transformers: Age of Extinction concept art up on his blog The art shows various scenes of the Autobots and Dinobots riding into battle, and here's what Emiliano himself had to say about it:

"Just a couple of months ago I received approval on showing at least one piece of the work I did for Transformers Age of Extinction movie.
This is one of the craziest piece I did for the fourth Transformers movie and it was a lot of fun to work on.I did it under the direction of the mighty Aaron Archer who gave me a ton of details to fit into one single image.
I started with a couple of simple composition/mood studies, and then went into the full rendering.

We went throw a lot lot of revisions, including adding Drift, the sparkles and later on we also decided to change the color of the sky.

I loved adding all the dust and atmospheric elements, creating chaos during the battle.
There is so much going on that something can get lost, like Bumblebee fighting a bunch of Decepticons behind Grimlock.

There will be more? The title of the post suggests yes, as I did several other pieces, so, hopefully I'll get permissions to show some others in the following years."

Check it out and discuss after the break!

Prime 1 Studio Dark of the Moon Shockwave Statue

Posted on 11-30-2014 at 01:49 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Movie Toys & Products (All Transformers Movie News)
10522735_807750995938211_2978046694404017574_n_zpse264b058 Prime 1 Studio have teased another Transformers themed statue on their Facebook page. While they've not said who this statue is of, fans of the Michael Bay directed live-action movies may recognize the bot in shot as none other than the Decepticon Shockwave, who brought terror to Chicago in Transformers Dark of the Moon.

We are informed this one will be a full sized statue. A possible prototype was shown off by a "Matrix Studios" at the 6th annual SGC Fanscon over the weekend - could it be a prototype of this or something else? Either way, there is a cool and undoubtedly expensive new statue coming our way sometime in 2015 of this Decepticon cyclops.

Steve Jablonsky Explains Why Transformers: Age Of Extinction Score Was Removed From iTunes

Posted on 11-20-2014 at 03:30 PM by SilverOptimus under Transformers Movie (Just Movie) (All Transformers Movie News)
AgeofExtinctionScore Composer Steve Jablonsky updated his Facebook Page to explain why Transformers: Age Of Extinction Score was removed from iTunes:

"Now because you guys are so awesome, the TF4 score hit 15,000 units really quickly. I honestly had no idea the score had been pulled down until fans started contacting me asking why the soundtrack had vanished from iTunes, only a couple months after the release of the film. I suspected the 15k limit was the reason, a little investigation proved that to be the case."

Toys 'R Us Japan November Exclusives New Images - Micron Carnivac and Rollbar

Posted on 11-16-2014 at 07:54 PM by Matty under Transformers Movie Toys & Products (All Transformers Movie News)
Micron-Carnivac Thanks to the Facebook page of Autobase Aichi, we have new images of two Toys 'R Us Japan exclusives. The first new batch of images are of the Micron Carnivac, which is a dual homage of Carnivac, the Decepticon Pretender, and of course Lockdown's wolf-minions from the most recent Transformers blockbuster Age of Extinction (also known as Steeljaw). Carnivac is available in Japan with a purchase of Transformers product at TRU, while supplies last.

The second group of images is of Rollbar, essentially the rally race car of Shane Dyson from AOE. This figure appears to be the same figure that can be found in the Breakout Battle (AKA farmageddon) set. Rollbar will be an exclusive release in Japan through TRU stores.

Check out the thread for Carnivac here, and head over to discuss Rollbar with the discussion link below.
