Our fellow fans over at the Allspark get the credit for digging up this bit of news. The latest edition of Kidscreen magazine contains some news on Transformers Prime Beast Hunters including the fate of Transformers Prime itself. The article puts forward that Prime season 3, Beast Hunters, will now only contain 13 episodes and it will mark the final chapter of the Transformers Prime series.
That being said, the article goes on to say that a “new iteration of the animated TV series” is due in late 2014, and while there is no word on what this new series might be, chances are it will be set in the Aligned Continuity. With all the effort Hasbro has put into creating this cohesive continuity for Transformers – a continuity presently covering two novels, two prequel video games, the upcoming MMOG “Transformers Universe”, three comic book miniseries, 65 episodes and a TV movie – it is unlikely that the Aligned Continuity is going away so soon.

It's a shame to see Prime go. It was one of the best shows I've seen in my entire life. Animated was interesting to start off, but I quickly lost interest in it by the time the third season rolled around.
I'm curious to know what the new show is, though. It won't be comparable to Prime, but I'll at least try to watch it.

Its sad to hear that TFP Beast Hunters is the last of TFP for now.
Hopefully the next TF show would be equally as good if not better.

They have to stop making transformers seasons so short. I think they should make a season that would knock all the other transformers seasons off the top of the chart. I would 100 percent watch it. They have to keep making transformers prime season 4, they can't just cut it short. I LOVE TRANSFORMERS PRIME they can't do this to us. :-[

In my eyes, Hasbro has done a poor job at trying to tie everything in, with the games, the series, the books. Ambitious but not a success in my eyes. Not a complete failure, by any means, but it still resembles a general mess.
That being said, I'm always optimistic about what is in store for the future with Transformers and this "possibly" new series is no exception.

That isn't a "Fox" effort, Saban brands programs it after the dissolution of 4Kids (which ran the block's prior incarnations), and it nominally airs on The CW, however, some stations get CW programing through license/syndication deals.
So while the channel may be Fox, they also have some sort of deal for CW content.
Either way, the block isn't ran by the entities that air them.
Paxtin
Sadly I have considered that from time to time.

Nope. Tieger said WFOC was meant as a general prequel to all continuities. Not directly, of course, but still a basic prequel.
This is how I think of it, based on common sense and clues; the games were meant as their own continuity, and Hasbro absorbed it into Aligned, leading to their insisting it is a prequel to everything for the next decade.
I still clearly remember a statement by Tieger about Prime representing all continuities indirectly. Nothing about specifically targeting Prime, not at least until FOC when Hasbro was forcing FOC into Prime.
Although it does sound really cool for them to be "slowly evolving into their Prime designs".
Now I want the third game more.

Tieger made a bigger effort to connect it to Prime. That's why Optimus's first gun is the Prime gun, Megatron's alt mode is closer to Prime and the Nemesis is based on the Prime nemesis. Also Mute Bee and Cliffjumper's design I suppose.
IIRC he said that the idea is that they want to show that "the cast is slowly evolving into their designs that they take on Earth". It stands to reason that the next game will have even more design cues.

I'm wondering this as well. Even if he did say it, I'm highly skeptical of the idea that they focused making their game fit with some vaguely connected tv series rather than focusing on making a great sequel to WFC.
orangeitis
So when did Tieger say that now…?
Contradictions shouldn't even be there after WFC. WFC was being made before the whole 'Aligned' decision, but FoC had time to 'correct' them.
Rob
Sorry FOC as in Fall of Cybertron

If you haven't learned to love horrible fiction by this point, you may be in the wrong franchise.
Escargon
I was making a joke who said FoX instead of FoC.
Shatterpoint
Prime's being aired on their SatAM Vortexx block.
Escargon
Wait, since when has Transformers been on Fox since RID.
Autovolt 127
Personally I don't care if it all really fits or not. I sleep easier not thinking about fitting it all in.
Rob
In FOC they are nearly none existent.
It's a matter of enough people say it, it must be true.
CelticMutt
You mean besides both Hasbro and Tieger saying FoC is a prequel to Prime?
And the contradictions are minimal, despite what certain people wish to believe.
Nightrain
…is there proof of this?
And btw, it still doesn't matter what anyone says when it contradicts what is produced.
