MTV recently had a chat with actor Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) of Michael Bay Transformers Live Action Movie Series and he had this to say…
“For me, I feel vindicated for having guilt on my shoulders for the second movie. There is vindication in this one being successful and people enjoying it.”Speaking of Shia, we shouldn’t forget Megan Fox; ex-Transformers actress. She’s saying to the press that she will watch Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
“I haven’t seen it yet, but I will see it. I mean, if they hadn’t been hitting me so hard on the press tour, I would have gone to the theater. But I felt like that would have been a disaster: Me sitting with a packed theater of people watching the movie. So I didn’t go. I mean, I have nothing against watching it. And I love Shia to death; I love him unconditionally. And I love that crew. I’m really close to the hair, makeup and wardrobe that made that movie. I want to see it for them. I know it looked amazing in the trailer. Out of all three trailers, that was the trailer that I was like, “Wow, sh*t, this is a huge movie.” So I think it will be an interesting, fun thing to watch, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.”

I'm sure Megan flipped the bird when Carly was on Sam…
"Ma'am, please do not make that gesture in this theater"
"Shut up! Some British bimbo is with my boyfriend!"

Yes but no way to just ignore the movies. If there was a way to ignore the movies then people might not complain about them as much.

I think they want to hook up again… their next project being a porno.

Yeah, they were the ONLY thing going on at the time. If you didn't like it, you had NOTHING else Transformers related to enjoy.
Since 07 if you didn't like the movies you had Animated, Universe 2.0, Shattered Glass, New G1 comics from IDW, a novel (with a new one on the way), an excellent video game (with another one on the way), Alternity, Generations, Masterpiece figures, and Transformers Prime.
To me it seems like fans have had plenty of options to enjoy for the last four years outside of the movies.

During Armada, Energon, and Cybertron you could avoid Armada, Energon, or Cybertron because it was the only Transformers products going and the cartoons were something you had to go out of your way to find.
But lets say you want to check out the Toy Fair, Bot Con, or Comic Con news for something on Generations style figures. It's stuff about movie toys, more stuff about movie toys, Hasbro gushing about movie toys and if you are real lucky that year maybe just maybe a few figures that aren't movie toys will make the news somewhere in all the movie coverage.
It gets time for a movie release or DVD release and unless you live under a rock it's commercial after commercial and the trailers attached to every film Paramount can attach it to.
You can't even totally escape the movies with Transformers Prime because they had to put movie Bumblebee into the series and some fan is always going on some theory that Transformers Prime is a movie series.
Since 2007 it's been almost impossible to enjoy Transformers with something movie related being thrust into the mix somehow. If you can't escape the movie stuff then maybe it's hard for people to let it go if they can't have Transformers without movie stuff always getting injected in.

Are you… trying… to talk like… WILLIAM SHATNER??!?!!?

Many may say ROTF sucks….but I …. loved watching Optimus actually fight for more than a min like in TF1…..and he and other bots and Cons alike did that….was the story perfect?…um no….and I loved the twins….were they in it to much? yes. Was their a writers strike? Yes…..and that didn't help w the script……I watch it lots….Granted I skip to my fav scenes but I would say out put that B-Ray in more than TF1 but they all to me are 1 long movie, like Star Wars…..its not 3 movies….its just 1 long story….and being a child of G1 I love it….Can't wait til another movie….

I dunno, when you're starring in a movie alongside both Bill Murray and Mickey Rourke and it STILL goes direct to video, that probably means your shelf life is nearing its end.

Fellow G1'er, but only recently started following the mythology. Enjoyed the movies with my only dislike being the insect like look to the robots. What plot holes were there in RoTF?
That stink was only in Jennifer's Body. That crap doesn't come out her all the time. It was just a special effect.
Love James Avery, reminds me of my father (same build, deep voice, bald, beard…. eerie). He's like the black version of my dad. Pretty sure he did voice one of the robots in DoTM or in one of the video games. Caught a Star Trek episode where I was trying to figure out who the Klingon was and surprise, it was James Avery! He made an awesome Klingon!

After 3 movies, no they shouldn't.
It was fine the first time around, maybe even the second, but by the third movie if you hated the first two I don't even know why you would bother with the third one at all.
Armada, Energon, and Cybertron are all horrible in my opinion and I never really could get into RID, but you don't see me going into every single thread that comes up about them to put them down and complain about them.
I am not saying in anyway people have to like the movies, I am not saying you can't feel disappointment, but I think it has come to a point where everything negative about them has been said to death times a million so why can't the people who genuinely enjoy the films enjoy them without the negativity.

One can only hope . In any case, kudos to her to step up to MichaelBay, anyone who doesn't mind jeopardizing their career in order to say what they think gets points in my book. Her character was better than iCarly, and her response to DOTM was *extremely* mature compared to what she could have said. "Haven't watched it, will do, kaythxbye". She learned her lesson very well.
Megabattimus
And all of those movies either got mediocre critical reception or failed to earn money, and some of them did both. She doesn't have a career and should probably become a pornstar. That's just my
Backscatter
Really?
2009 Jennifer's Body
Jonah Hex (2010)- Lilah
Passion Play (2010)- Lily
and more if you look it up. She may not be a leading lady often, but Megan Fox has and will have a career.

So Hollywood comes in and alienates a bunch of the old fans and those fans shouldn't say anything?
HoosierDaddy
I guess I don't need to comment much on Meg Fox. The fact that she wasn't in DOTM was a non-factor for me. They are both pretty girls but pretty girls are a dime a dozen now days in Hollywood and even in real life. Didn't effect me at all.
I'm a Geewuner but I enjoyed all the movies greatly in spite of the fact that I hate the aesthetics of the robots modes. I tried to get into the toys but they just don't work for me and I sold off most of my movie toys. But I still enjoyed the movies because I don't expect a story about giant fighting robots to be intricate like a chic flick.
I look at it like this and it works for me personally: Megatron knew about the Fallen's plan but liked Sentinel's plan better and went with it. But when Sentinel came up missing and presumed dead, he changed his plan to fit with the Fallen's plan. When that failed and Sentinel reappeared Megatron resorted back to plan A. I just haven't lost the ability to use my imagination in today's world of the vast acceptance and worship of mediocrity.

okay now I'm not sorry I clicked on this thread.

Sooo….
How is this news?
I thought we were done with the "actress" who labeled the one person who made her famous Hitler
Nachtsider
Now that Bay's trilogy is over, I must say I can't see much of a career for either of them. Particularly for Fox.
Maetel
yeah i don't care for her either way but this 'oh i haven't seen it' and loving the crews bit just seem so disingenuous to me.
